for the price ($13), a great tool, but could so much better with minor modifications
this tool is quite versatile, comes in very handy at times, and has survived quite a beating. it has two different size openings on the pipe, to accommodate different size nail heads. the business end (the tip) of the striker is somewhat magnetized to help with starting a nail, but it's really not practical because the nails flop around which makes them hard to aim. i start difficult nails with a pilot hole, so that makes using this tool easier. if they could modify it so that the nail doesn't move around when starting it, that would be awesome! it's really great that the tip of striker has a recessed hole, which allows you to align on the tip of a nail to drive it out, if you have to remove it. the biggest draw back is that the striker wants to fall out of the pipe when working on anything that causes you to point the tool upwards; i would think that a small o-ring, sitting in a groove inside the pipe would create enough friction to stop this from happening. all that aside, it has given me great value.

Good for concrete foundation workers
I recently bought the story is I Work for a foundation company and it’s always tricky to nail the inside corners for your walls to get around the rebar and other tight spaces and this tool works wonderful it makes it easier to get around the bar without the nail slipping or bending it’s a must have for anyone doing foundations the only thing I don’t like about it is I wish it was just one solid rod and they are not two different size ends because I mostly use big 16 duplex nails and it’s just a little weird having a smaller rod on the inside where is there’s a slight gap on the edges of the tool when you’re using the big sides

Great when you need it
I used this to nail close to pipes and adjacent cornered drywall. It won't last forever but it's not meant to be used on every nail you hit, just the difficult ones in a project. I'm sure it would die if I just slammed away on it. Realistically though for tricky nails you're already choking up on the handle and going slowly. I found it hard to use in a ceiling until I used the magnetic tip--stick the tip on, hit, stick the tip on, hit--yes that's a pain but on the other hand so is trying to nail straight up while on a ladder anyhow. So much better than hitting fingers, having a nail go in far enough you can't remove it but not far enough to be right, or not being able to nail at all. Useful also for setting a screw into something (drywall especially) to get it started, always hard to do in a tight space. I found that I could also use it with no hammer at all to push drywall nails into patches up to the wood and then switch to the hammer, way easier than starting them out directly with the hammer in a ceiling patch. So yes, like people have said, you will eventually destroy it. But oh well, it will be useful until that time, and it won't die on you immediately, so I'm very pleased with it.

Good in a Tight Spot
The tool worked well and as described. Had to nail some joist hangers in a place where copper water lines prevented aneffective hammer swing.

Good tool but the parts come apart so after you ...
Good tool but the parts come apart so after you nail it above your head the inside falls into your face. Otherwise. A great tool.

Don't hit ti too hard!!!
The top broke off the shaft on the 3rd mail I tried to drive in!!! It may work ok for small nails going in to soft wood . . . but not for largernails that are being driven in to 2 x 4's!!

When you need, you need it! It's also a great gift to give!
I was gifted this tool and love it. It is a must have for the tool box! "When you need, you need it"! It's perfect for hard to get places. And if you like repurposing projects, then you will absolutely get your $ out of the Nailed It Tool. It's also a one-of-a-kind gift that's perfect for Christmas, Birthday, or even Fathers Day!
