threads are not helicoiled,so they damage easily
ok so i bought this mount for my 8th gen civic si which i'm doing a k24a2 swap and when i first got the mount/bracket,i was amazed of how beautiful it looks BUT then i screwed in the 2 oem honda bolts so that i wouldn't loose them while i stored the mount until time to do the swap.well a week later i seen the ktuned version and noticed they had helicoiled threads and i had no idea what they were until i read about them..well i did a quick test on the p2r mount by screwing and unscrewing the 2 top bolts in & out for about 3 times! and that's when i noticed the threads got super loose! bolts felt like they had play,felt very loose(btw i screwed thw bolts in by hand the whole time)now i regret buying this mount and worse part is,my motor is getting swapped in a few days from today😟 oh well live & learn i guess..i should have shelled out the extra $15 & would of gotten the ktuned mount with helicoiled threads.
