Rugged, good range, and easy to use
Outstanding value for the money!Rugged and SIMPLE.Too many walkie-talkies have a dizzying number of buttons, settings, and digital displays. With those other fancy-schmancy walkie-talkies, if you or your kid play around with one and lock it into some sort of privacy setting, you might never figure out how to get your walkie-talkie set on the same frequency again.If someone wants to listen to my kid and me discuss where we’re going to meet at the ski hill, I really don’t care.Can’t say enough good things about this Oluwiz set!

Good quality radios with very good range and clarity
For starters I am a traffic control supervisor for ajax paving and purchased these units for flagging operation.The radios have excellent clarity and am very impressed with the over all range. We are working rural roadways with alot of tree cover and winding curves.The best distance is estimated at 2/3 of a mile but if there is nothing in between the flaggers the distance is well over a mile.We have not got in any rain as of yet but I do keep 1 gal freezer bags on hand to protect them.Over all excellent handheld radio with very long battery life.So far had them on for over 11 hours.

They don’t have the range specified
I live in Florida….FLAT! These work maybe about a 1 mile radius.

Use these for work daily.
Use these for work everyday. They do well, are easy to use and inexpensive. My last set of 4 has lasted 4 years of constant use. The battery life gets shorter as they wear out. Only drawback is the replacement batteries are expensive. Might as well buy a new set if radios. We will see how the newest set works out compared to the last one.

Works if your standing in front of the person!
Not only did these only work in our office when we were standing in front of one another the ear piece and clip would not stay on. The walkie talkie fell off and was hanging on the side most of the day. The ear piece was out and I had no idea. SMH
