Thoroughly washed the mold using dish detergent and hot water and thoroughly rinsed it. I used a non-stick pan, poaching the eggs in about 1/8 inch of water. Water boils at 212F and food quality pure silicone rubber melts at roughly 600F. Despite my cooking at a low temperature, the mold emitted a strong odor that I associate with non-silicone rubbers, such as neoprene (think of the smell of an automotive tire store). I have silicone baking sheets, silicone baking cupcake molds, basting brushes and so on and none of them ever smell like neoprene. I threw out the egg mold and the eggs. I don't have any way to determine if these molds are in fact 100% silicone, but in my case for some unknown reason they smelled like non-silicone rubber.

I love this product and found it very easy to use. I do recommend spraying it liberally with cooking spray so that it doesn't stick to the eggs. Since you can't easily flip this over for over-easy eggs without possibly ruining the design, I added a little water to the pan at the end and put a cooking lid over it too steam cook the tops of the eggs thoroughly, but they were still runny on the inside. Perfect and fun!

I love this item! I highly recommend! Took me two times to figure it out, but once I knew how to use it, it became very easy. Make sure you spray the pan and silicone with Pam to make it easier.

Took a few tries but I managed to get it. Definitely worth the buy. Fun to use.

Got to make breakfast eggs a little more fun for the kids. Picture was my first try. The egg eyes got a little out of place but it was my fault. It was easy to use and the kids thought it was cool. I didn’t have a sticking problem just give it a little like with a fork as you pull up the mold.

Absolutely nothing about these molds work as advertised. Tried using them with and without cooking spray - the eggs stuck to the molds either way. Ruined a bunch of eggs trying to get results only to be disappointed. I would NOT recommend.

The idea is great! I was all about it- still haven't thrown it away. But the execution is much harder than they make it look. Good idea- but just doesn't really work. I've tried multiple times.
