THESE ARE REAL COCONUT FIBER!
Just want to let everyone know that these are REAL COCONUT FIBER. It looks and feels exactly like what comes off the shell of a coconut. The coating on it is natural latex, which comes from a tree. I even tried lighting it on fire. Plastic scrubbers melt but this fiber burns like wood burns after the latex burns away. So, I don't know what the other review was saying, but these are made of real coconut fiber and they last a long time. I like them a lot and they are a great size and price for stocking stuffers for people that are eco-friendly!

I like the sustainability of this item. I love that it is compostable too. Because I have arthritis, the size is hard to hang on to - for me, when I need to deep scrub a pot. It has a good scrubby texture and does a nice job though.
