Bought this a few months back. Initially thought it was a little pricy, but the welder works really well with long battery life and excellent features so well worth the price.I had accidently damaged the item a few weeks after purchase and when I contacted the seller they were kind enough to send me a replacement, so really appreciate their customer care. Will definitely recommend to others.

After having bought and returned faulty two lower cost but not cheap units, I finally bit the bullet and bought one of these. Well what do you know. It worked straight out of the box. Turned the wick up to 8 and it gave perfect welds. It is also very well made. So far so good..

Bought this to rebuild a couple of cordless drill batteries. Works really well, but you have to be quite firm with the welding probes to get good results.

Works fine, seems like a reasonably solid product.However, like all of these chinese portable welders they massively overstate the capability of them.This one states with various contradicting statements it can do up to 0.2 nickle - no way in hell.I found it can do up to 0.1 max before they're just too easy to pull apart - this is on maximum setting.dont be fooled by all the different ones on amazon either, they're all the same with varying degrees of quality cuts to maximise profit. In the end all come from the same/similar factories in china.Overall though, the product is actually not bad, it has wasted my time and money though as i needed it for 0.15 welds and now i'm outside the window to return it.

Done a few test connections on different settings and tried to pull them apart so I could work out what setup needs what power. All is good. do your testing 1st before you tackle the real project. Battery lasted well and weld faultless.
