I really like this chair. I'm actually using it as a chair for my bar, because I got sick of these small-piston stools on amazon giving out. This thing is really robust, the piston's really heavy with good attachments and a solid base, so it doesn't feel like breaking will be an issue.The build isn't that hard. You'll need your own allen wrench (hexwrench) and a socket wrench. You can use a regular wrench instead of a socket, but some of the spaces are pretty tight, so it's easier to tighten with sockets.The instructions are baaad though. It's pictures, no words. Step 1a shows that you need to remove a peg that's already inserted. You don't need to, and I don't think it's possible. Just skip that step if you're stuck, you can get the cowl on without removing the peg and reinserting it. Otherwise the build is pretty common sense.The chair locks into rotation unless you press lightly on the pump (but not enough to lower it.) The lock isn't super strong though, so you can still rotate without the press if you give it some force. If you wanted to always rotate more freely, you could probably make a quick and dirty rubber tip for the bottom of the lever to keep it from ever locking.The chair arrived with no damage for me. Also the arms are a nice surprise: That flat bit at the end is a good resting place for my water bottle.

Easy to assemble, quality material. After I put it together I sat in it as it looks comfortable, but at least to me it was not very comfortable to sit in lol.

I love the chair, but to be honest, the instructions were ridiculous, they only had pictures. It wasn't easy to assemble, and one thing I wasn't used to is the lock in place. It really bugs me. I like my chairs to swivel when I want them to. The foot bar to lift the chair is way, way too short (that's a huge flaw) so you have to really shove your foot clear under the side or rear of the chair if you turned it to let the client step out of the chair for any reason, and if your client has any weight at all to them, your legs better be pretty strong to pump the hydraulics to lift them up . I was also a bit concerned about the little feet on the bottom of the foot step because if those are off the floor it puts a lot of strain on the hydraulics and the foot step.There are a lot of nooks and crannies for hair to get in to, so you need to keep some sort of wisp broom to clean it off after each use but they did include a great sponge for wiping it off which I love.The color is very nice and seems really well made. It also reclines beautifully and comfortably. Everything functions properly the way it should. All in all I do love the chair and so do my clients. I just wish it was easier to swivel and lift.

We started off a little rough the plastic sides were cracked and broken. The company sent me replacement parts that was easy to install. The chair is so comfortable and my clients love it.

Very good chair, very comfortable for customers, of course there are other better chairs but at a much higher cost, this for the price it is excellent. Excellent customer service!, there were two basic parts missing for the assembly and the seller contacted me quickly and solved it in less than a week. I recommend the seller and the item 100%

I was really going back and forth about 3 stars or 4 stars. All and all its a nice looking chair, color looks good and pretty heavy duty. However if you're looking to buy this chair please do be warned that it does not come put together also it does not have instructions or any tools to put your chair together with. After putting the chair together there was some blot holes that was not lined up correctly and i had to force some straight or just pushed them in. I had one bolt that holds the back of the chair together never get tight so i just left in loose. some of the pieces are nice and well made, other pieces on the other hand feels really cheap like the metal on the back of the head rest.

The chair is incredibly comfortable, especially for larger folx as I am a professional barber and most of my clients are men. I’m tall-ish (6’2”) and it pumps up high enough for even short clients as I have a lot of younger clients under age 16. Initial shipment forgot the pump but it was air shipped to men in less than a week and customer service was incredibly helpful and communicative. For your money it is a great chair, and I’m happy I finally purchased one.
