IMPORTANT NOTE: I have tested two of these types of boards from two sellers... and on both boards the power leads are BACKWARDS. If you connect it as stipulated on the board, you will burn out the board within a couple of seconds. The board shows positive as being toward the front of the board and negative toward the rear. It is the exact opposite. This has been verified by a friend who purchased the same board.HOW TO CORRECT THIS: The obvious correction is to wire it backward, which works. Before doing so I recommend a very brief test. Touch power wires to the leads BRIEFLY and see if the bright blue LED lights up. If it does, you have the correct power setup. If not, reverse the wires. This way you can test your specific board before wiring in potentially damaging power.Otherwise, this is a versatile and reasonably powerful amplifier. It's the only one of several small amp boards I tested that had no hiss or hum. One negative point is it doesn't have a power-off pot, so draws constant power so long as power is connected. This can be corrected via an external power switch. That point recognized, this does a very good job and accepts a wide range of power options.I'm giving this 3 stars because of the power wiring issue and lack of on/off switch. This board simply shows the wrong wiring diagram.
