I am impressed with the magnetic strength of this power bank. It holds the phone really well and is consistent with wireless charging output of 7.5w. I like the convenience of this powerbank as it magnetically sticks at the back of your phone giving you a wire-free charging experience while you’re on the move. Bear in mind that it’s best to use a case that supports MagSafe in order for this to firmly hold the phone. In my opinion, go with the ESR cases as they’re premium quality and great value for your buck. The wired type c charging is fast and reliable as well giving you 20w output. It’s more prone to scratches as the body of the power bank is plastic. It doesn’t really matter to me so I’m fine with the scratches. Overall, good product and comes in handy on the go.

Update.I’ve now been using this for a couple of weeks & I'm slightly disappointed. I’ve noticed that my phone frequently gets very hot whilst charging, this doesn’t happen on any of my other chargers.I’m not sure if this is due to the product itself or a slight misalignment with the MagSafe. I currently have an ESR case but I think the camera protection may be causing the issue. I would have thought that ESR would ensure that their products are compatible.So far, I really like this product. It attaches well to my iphone (with ESR MagSafe case)It seems to charge my phone pretty fast too!Be aware the if you don’t have a Max phone, it slightly pokes out below the bottom of your phone. However it still works fine & stands on the charger & kickstand nicely.It is bulky but as it has 10,000 mah this is understandable. I therefore haven’t dropped any ⭐️I don’t always have access to charge my phone during the day so this is a lifesaver that gives me confidence that my phone won’t run out on my commute home.

First time using the ESR Halolock wireless power bank, simple to use, charges quickly and love the simple design. It is portable and an excellent accessory to my iphone, plus no leads required. Battery packs are a must when travelling. I already have an ESR wireless charger and an ESR stand so I naturally wanted to try their Magsafe battery pack.I am using a Pixel 7a with a Magsafe case instead of an iPhone and it works perfectly. As soon as I attach the battery pack, my Pixel recognises it and starts charging wirelessly. The aluminium stand allows you to set the phone at a nice angle whilst charging and also you can rotate the phone to landscape all whilst continuing to charge.The ability to turn off the charging by holding down the button for 3 seconds allows you to just utilise the stand. If you want wired charging then using the included USB C to C cable allows for fast charging. The USB C port is located on the side of the battery pack rather than the bottom which means you can still use the stand whilst wired charging without the port and cable getting in the way.The battery pack itself is well made and has a bit of weight to it. It happily charged my phone twice to from 15ish% to full. If or when I need a new battery pack, I will look out for ESR again.

The packaging was sleek and presented the product in an excellent light. The device is well-sized and easy to carry in a product; it fits very snugly to the iPhone and the MagSafe element is robust for confidence. The kickstand works really well and is a really cool feature to the overall. This design and product deserves a high rating.

I had to order this to replace another power bank that just would not work with the Apple woven cover for iPhone 15. This sticks and holds, OK not so slimline but the battery pack is twice the size so I do get a full charge and then some with it. Not too bulky that I can't hold the phone to take a call when its attached

I've been using this for awhile its the best charging bank because of its size and magsafe.Helped me in a bind. Lightweight and portable!

Additional update: Jan 2024Another unexpected benefit of the ESR Power Bank has been found. It serves as a very functional stand to use the iPhone as a "Continuity Camera" in conjunction with the FaceTime app on an Apple TV. For that use case, the main iPhone camera is used for FaceTime calls, with the iPhone positioned next one's big screen TV. The iPhone on its own won't balance on its edge, but with the ESR attached, the combo sits quite nicely on the table below our TV.=====================Update: Dec 2003I've now been using the ESR Power Bank for a while, and have come to like it very much. It's a quick, easy way to add electrons to my iPhone 15P when travelling and away from power. It's much more convenient than my old method, which was to carry an external USB battery pack and connecting cable in my backpack.I hadn't bought the ESR for 'at home' use, but have found it very useful as a stand when having FaceTime calls. I configure the iPhone in landscape orientation, and use the Power Bank's adjustable kickstand to tilt it as needed on a desk or table. Much better than holding the iPhone at arm's length for family FaceTime chats.============================Works fine for our MagSafe phones (a 14 and a 15P). But disappointed it won’t wirelessly charge my XR, Apple Watch, or AirPods. My 3-year old Anker wireless charge pad can handle everything except for the Watch. Why can’t these charging gadgets be backwards compatible?The design of the ESR battery pack is very solid, especially the adjustable kickstand.

I love this battery pack for my iPhone 12 mini. It has a lot of juice, and it charges my phone super fast. It also sticks to my phone pretty strong, which is awesome.The magnet is very strong when I don't use my case, but it gets weaker when I do. But that's not the battery pack's fault, it's my case's fault. My case is too thick and it blocks the magnet.The battery pack also works with other phones, like my Pixel 7. It also has a light, which tells me how much power is left. It is very handy, easy to use. I give it five stars.

Up front information before I critique the item. MagSafe and wired charging will vary in charging speed. I used the iPhone 13 in conjunction with the 10,000 mAh MagSafe battery pack. The iPhone is listed as having a 3,227 mAh battery.The first attempt at testing the battery resulted in inadequate results. I depleted the ESR battery and charged it back to full. The second attempt was improved (don’t know if it had to be recalibrated). The product page states that an iPhone 13 can be charged 1.6x with this battery.During testing, I did not use the phone in order to keep the results more accurate.MagSafe charging10:00 am 2%11:24 am 60%11:58 am 80% 1:10 pm 100%The phone was at 10% when I used the remaining charge of the ESR battery.12:02 pm 10% 1:55 pm 70%Phone maxed out at 76% when ESR battery died. The battery performed slightly better than the listed 1.6x.Wireless/MagSafe charging speed 15-20% per half hour. I believe that charging speed begins to slow after 50% reached then again at around 80%.Wired charging12:13 pm 28%12:24 pm 47%12:54 pm 80%Max speed roughly 1.7% per minute and minimum 1%. I did not charging capacity with wired setup.Pros : contoured shape, solid kickstand, usb c port on side allows charging while phone attached with MagSafe, pass through charging (battery & phone charging simultaneously), can charge 2 devices at same time (1 wired 1 wireless).Cons : bulkyTo sum up, this 10,000 mAh MagSafe battery pack is true to its claimed specs of 1.6x. It has a solid build with a sturdy kickstand. I would recommend this one for those that will have the phone on a table or if it is charging while in a bag. It is uncomfortable to hold the phone with the added weight of this pack for an “extended” period of time. The smaller 5,000 mAh sibling is lighter and more comfortable to carry (in hand) if you just need to top off the phone battery during the day. Very happy with the purchase but prefer the smaller/lighter offering. Lastly, I know that ESR has many types of accessories for mobile phones (I use the MagSafe iPhone case and screen protector). It would be nice to have some kind of textured grip on the sides like their cases. It would be more secure in the hand while attached to phone.For comparison purposes, I use my similar battery charger from another well known brand. Their 5,000 mAh comes with the port on bottom (not convenient) and has a magnetic flap that props it up in vertical position. The magnetic stand is not as sturdy as the kickstand. That same brand released a 10,000 mAh that has the port on side and an actual kickstand like the ESR. Seems like ESR made the right choices with both models.
