Getting hosed isn’t always bad
Great thing about these is they’re easy to handle, lightweight, seem to be durable. Have one I bought five years ago and left it outside which isn’t recommended and it’s still in great shape. This one covers a LOT of ground and even works hooked to a pressure washer. So it carries as much water as hard hoses. Totally happy with it.

Nice features; short-lived!
I liked the hose when it arrived. It was packaged well (a drawstring bag with a free nozzle). The hose takes up very little room as it expands when filled with water. It stretched to the full 100 feet, although I was sceptical at first. It has nice brass fixtures and a shut-off valve. Now the negatives: (1) the hose is black so the water heats up when it's not running; (2) when you fill the hose, it expands (which is good). But then when you shut off the water, it contracts. This either pulls the hose back from where you had it or keeps it stretched out (if lashed down); (3) my hose started leaking (seriously, like no water gets past the leak) last week. So, that's six months of use and the hose is dead.

Great while it lasted
I had mine for 2 years and it worked pretty well. This year was the first that I really put it through a lot of use because I am trying to regrow some dead patches throughout my yard so was taking it out once or twice a day to water the yard.I went out this morning to water the lawn and found a leak in it, which broke my heart. I don't know if it came from pulling on it too much, age, or what. 2 years is a decent amount of time, but with the price I paid, I'd hoped for another year or so. It may just be the nature of the beast with these hoses, though. So about its performance while I had it- I loved how lightweight and flexible it was when not under pressure. It was so easy to store! When the weather was extremely hot and for winter storage, I could easily put it in the bag it arrived in and hang it in my garage. Winding it on a hose holder outdoors was so easy compared to traditional hoses, too. The materials did make it a little hard to drag around the yard, though. Unlike traditional hoses that are smooth enough to glide over grass, there was a fair amount of friction (at least, I assume that was the issue) so I'd sometimes have to stop what I was doing and go reposition the direction of the hose from back toward the beginning as I was walking around the yard. All in all, good purchase. The only issues I had are things that I am sure are going to happen no matter what brand of expandable hose I purchase.

Waste of Money - Lasted About 20 Uses
Don't waste money on this product. They give you only a 30 day warranty for a reason. Mine ruptured after only about 3 months and maybe 20 uses. I only used it occasionally to water plants for about 10 minutes. It can be seen in the pictures that first it totally gave up and has water dumping out of it, but then when I went to take this picture I noticed that half of it had completely lost its elasticity. So even if it didn't rupture, it no longer recoils the way it is supposed to. If you want to waste your money, then buy this product.

Works as expected!
After having a privacy fence installed, we began keeping the gate padlocked 24/7. This meant, any time we needed to water the front of the back lawn, we would need to unhook the hose from the spigot, carry it around to whichever side of the yard that water was needed, unlock the padlock, open the gate, water, then, re-do the padlock on the gate, and hook the hose back up to the other spigot. It was soooooo darn time-intensive. Well, a time drain anyway. So, I invested in a hose splitter and two garden hoses. This was the second one that I purchased. The other, only 50 ft, we can use in the front yard. This one, being 75 ft. I hauled the hose to the backyard, where it will stay for the rest of the season - at least until it cools off a whole lot more. Next, I invested in a second water sprinkler for the backyard. We already had one for the front yard - and it works great! After having everything hooked up - the splitter, the two hoses, and each hooked up to a sprinkler, I gave the new system a try - it worked like a gem! No leaks, nor issues whatsoever! Both hoses work well and appear to collapse easily for storage in the winter. Now, the one piece I did not test was the spray nozzle - because we simply did not need it at this time. I safely stored it in our garage - along with the other hoses' spray nozzle. Will probably have an opportunity to test still before the full fall season is upon us.Overall, I am definitely pleased with my handy work (and I am NOT handy to save my life - lol!).

VERY LOW FLOW, APPARENTLY SMALL HOSE DIAMETER
OMG if you're looking for a low-flow and drizzle this is the perfect hose for you. Apparently the hose diameter is very small which is quite a disappointment. Was hoping to be able to water all of my plants with the extra long hose but the stream of water won't even reach half of them. As far as durability I've only had it for 1 month so can't comment on that at this time but will say the spray nozzle that comes with it lasted 2 days so needless to say and very disappointed. We've had great flow in the past with other hoses so it's this hoes in particular that is the problem.
