Electronic Remote Control Rat, Simulation Mouse Toy for Cat Dog Kid, Gray

Bought this for our bulldog and it lasted a total of maybe 5mins before she bit through it. This little sucker got her so excited that she actually ran across the room and pounced on it and bit the head as if it was real. Would be better if it was a rubber or super thick plastic to last longer and little particles of dead rat aren’t around the floor. Doesn’t work on thick carpet.

Neither toy worked at all not worth the hassle to have to bring them back to a place to return. Pretty sad that neither of them worked. Junk and waste of money. Don’t buy this product!

Unfortunately, it was broken when delivered. But seems like it would have been a lot of fun had it worked.

My son adopted a kitten, kitten adopted me. Radio Shack, aka-Dio, is a Tortie with full Tortitude, now a year old. I have bought many interactive toys for Dio. Some electric/remote controlled and some not ranging up to $50.This is a very simple, inexpensive remote/interactive one, BUT, it is the absolute most loved toy by Dio. She can't get enough of it, either me using remote to make it run around, or Dio just batting it around the room. Wish I had bought it sooner.Ease of use:Simpilist remote I've ever used.Fun toy:Dio can't get enough, will play until exhausted.Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked it because it was cheap, but it turned out better than the expensive ones previously bought.Speed:It's fast!Size:Bigger than expected, but not too big. Doesn't fit under the furniture and get stuck -- luv it!

Could not get into the battery compartment without a very tiny screwdriver and my cats did not play with the rat not even 30 seconds , waste of money.

I seldom complain, but this ARRIVED with the side of the bag CUT OPEN!! The mouse/rat has scuff marks, there are NO instructions, and NO batteries, which both the mouse/rat and controller requires!! Totally NOT impressed.Now, I am going to try to find batteries for this item, as my cats want to see what it is.Put new batteries into the mouse/rat, pushed the switch both ways, as it does not say on or off, and it does NOT work!! DEAD!!I will now attempt to put batteries in the remote control if I can open it to see if that will send a signal, but I doubt it. All the other toys I recently purchased for my cats work with or without the control! Th e control has a screw holding the battery lid on, so I will find a small screwdriver!Removed the screw, put in fresh batteries and does NOT work! Total WASTE of MONEY!!Do yourself a huge favor and Save your money on this one!

It does what it's supposed to do for $5, it goes forward and backwards but has a short range, 10ft if your lucky, looks real enough to scare someone terrified of rats/mice, I look forward to having fun at work tomorrow. Nothing special but it works for a good prank at a low cost. It's quiet but needs to be on a hard surface it doesn't work on carpets.

Where to start...First of all, this gray "rat" is large! From tip of nose to end of tail, 10 inches long and pretty realistic looking. The remote control feature works well..you can move the rat forward or in reverse and either move the rat slowly or really fast. I didn't have to be close to get the remote control to work. Sometimes I was about 6 feet away and the remote feature still worked. I have 3 kitties- one was afraid of the rat, one didn't care about it and one loved it. It's a great cat toy. Kittens might be afraid of it, but if they weren't, how fun!
