As expected. Perfect for hallways consort light at night.

This pair of night lights come packaged in a simple cardboard box with each night light covered in bubble wrap. There is also a small leaflet of instructions but it says nothing useful. The LED bulbs give off a pleasant orange/yellow glow that is ideal in a bedroom or in a place where you would not want a lot of light. Rated at 0.5w, these are not bright - and they also would not use much in electricity. There is nothing to set up at all. Simply plug into a wall socket (they are slim enough to allow another item to be plugged in alongside it if you use a double socket), turn the socket on, and walk away. There is a large sensor on the front that detects the level of the light in the room/area and will turn on the light as the ambient light goes down. I would not call these dusk to dawn though because when placed in a room that doesn't get very much natural light they come on immediately and stay on. Perhaps this will change during the summer months. To compensate for this, I leave them switched off and turn the socket on when I want the night lights to work. With so many similar products available I was spoilt for choice but settled on this product because it was a pack of 2 for a very low price. I believe I made a good choice because the colour of the LED is restful without any flicker or glare, and they are not only nicely made but there are no sharp edges or corners, the design is such that everything is curved. I have used these for several nights now since purchasing them and am happy to leave a 5 star rating.
