I have tried many different companys and builds both name brand and off amazon/aliexpress. I feel like there is a point when the quality of the build is obviously at a "good" tier, meaning it is machined well is properly tuned.This is a solid build and the parts feel very premium - even with many hours of use I don't see any issues with play or tap and it moves around really well in your hand.One thing I did notice was that the blade itself felt a bit heavy, and since both the blade and handles are so smoothed out, it is also a bit slippery. This makes tricks like the chaplin pretty difficult to execute for me since there's little grip on the sides that hit your fingers and the heavier blade makes the bladed spinning side easier to lose momentum on. Fans and rollovers work great but it will make some tricks difficult for beginners in my opinion. In comparison to something at a similar price range on amazon - the nabalis vulp, I would say this is a fun alternative trainer which does hold up for build quality, but if you had to choose one i would suggest the vulp for better weight distribution.All in all, one of the best trainers available directly on amazon, a bit heavy on the blade. Recommended for anyone who wants to try different trainers that are easily available and high quality.

Fit and finish is awesome. Seems like the blade could be longer to set the balance a little better. Overall lightness was a bit of a surprise as well. Had started with a all steel balishark so I was used to the heavier Bali.Also not sure if mine was a one off or not but my gold handle is more of a copper color and the purple side like brighter than what’s show in the examples. Not a deal breaker but something to note if you really wanted the gold and purple. Came with no tap but a little play. Added a little oil after tightening the bushing screws and now the thing flies.Also one of my zen pins doesn’t seem to be pressed all the way in (or pushed through a little too far). Time will tell if it backs out at all but day one seems good. Screws came pre loctited so that’s a plus. Appreciate the spare hardware as well.Well worth the price. The balishark I started with was only $14 so this was quite a jump up but that thing can’t hold a tune for more than a few mins of flipping and gets major tap after even the smallest drop onto carpet. The Comet has held up after multiple drops on hardwood. Anodizing seems strong too even if the colors are off.Over all highly recommend especially over the C116 that is prone to blade breaking.

I bought mine and used it for about 2 weeks. I dropped it a few times and now it has pretty bad tap. It's weighted decently and spins well, just not quite for me

this product is complete ass. it was good for about a week and after that it just fell apart. have no idea how tf I'm suppose to fix this. honestly just get a squiddy atp

id say this probably the second best on amazon behind the nebalis vulp. but tbh id save up and get the mako v4.5 or the squiddy-B. the mako is just incredible tho, thankfully im still able to return the comet. it's just too slippery and too neutral for me. the mako feels like it never wants to fall or lose grip. do yourself a favor and spend the extra 25$ for the mako v4.5.

For a starter bali flipper, it feels amazing. Handles feel very light and grip is immaculate. This flipper is great for its price
