Merveilleux!!!
"The Haunted Opera" is merveilliux!!! A "Phantom Of The Opera" style tale of the 1850's set in New Orleans...superstitions, ghosts and who dunnit's are the stuff of good theatre! Whether or not you're an opera fan this mystery is FANTASTIQUE!!! A Perfect Story For Girls!
Exciting, adventurous, mysterious, and beautifully written, this book is one of my favorites of Marie Grace And Cecile. Young girls will definitely love being caught up in the magical world of New Orleans theater. The facts about backstage production during an opera are fantastic, and the storyline is original, fast pace, and enchanting.

My granddaughter has just begun reading this book and so far she enjoys it. She is unhappy that they are retiring Marie-Grace as it is her favorite character doll.

Poor quality
I ordered a book in great condition but received a book with library stickers, tape, food on the pages, and writing on the inside. Not impressed.

Mystery
As always American Girl books never fail to be a great read for girls of all ages! I think it is a great way for children to learn what life was like in the past & a story wrapped in a mystery is a wonderful way to learn it!
