I like them
They feel a little bulky at first, but don’t take long to get used to. They are not too stiff so mobility is not restricted. They stay in place regardless of if you are throwing kicks or taking them. The padding/ protection is in the perfect sweet spot of being enough to protect you from injury while still allowing you to throw heavy kicks that your opponent certainly feels. They work very well for me, they are tough, and worth the investment.

UPDATE: removing a star. I’ve used these a few weeks now & do notice a slight bit of discomfort from how high the velcro strap is behind the knee. Its more noticeable on my left leg. I’ll have to experiment with the straps.I’m 5’9 & 165lbs. I got the Medium Evo Elite’s & they fit perfect. I did not find the velcro straps to be too high up toward the back of the knee.I’ve only used these for very light flow sparring once but they felt great & I did not have to adjust them once they were on.I will update if they show any issues.
