Had some random misfires, and replaced this just as a precaution, as it is super easy to change, and not too expensive. Turned out this was not the problem, but this one has been working fine since. Looks and fits just like original, so as long as it keeps working, not much more to say.

I can't find the location of this on my car
I don't know if it works well or not cause I can't find the location of this on my car 😑 Everyone that I have asked to look at it are baffled as to the location. Hopefully someone will be able to tell me. Considering that it's a 4 cylinder, manual transmission I personally have never seen one until I bought it, but 95% of 2001 FORD ESCAPE XLS where made with a V6

1K miles and still working as it should.
My Zetec seems to eat cam sensors once a year. I’ve gone through 3 or 4 Motorcraft sensors (ok, I do have 280K miles on it). Happy so far.
