Q: Will this work over clear cement sealer on my cement steps?

Not exactly sure. I don't believe it does.

Hi there, Our Masonry, Stucco and Brick Paint comes in a flat finish. I hope you find this info helpful.

Q: Can this paint be thinned down and used for a lighter coat to allow some of the brick's natural color to come through? Maybe a 2:1 ration??

Hi MK, We would not recommend this because you will lose all protection of the paint. You can thin it by putting up to 6 oz. of water but that will not thin it enough to give that look. If this is an interior project, our chalk paint can be sanded to give the look of brick but we do not have anything for exterior like this at this time.
