Aspecting the Goddess: Drawing Down the Divine Feminine

Indepth guide to personally experiencing the Divine Feminine
As a man reading about & wanting to heighten personal experience of the divine feminine, I find Jane Meredith a breath of fresh air. So many other authors seem to be talking to women only as though the Goddess is a girls club, which just seems to me to be reversing the whole male/female spiritual issue again. Jane Meredith though is inclusive & talking to any who read this beautiful book & I say this as a great compliment to her.I found the first section on Persephone a little more disjointed than the rest but perhaps that suits the story, she's here one minute & gone the next, in one world & then another :)) The other chapters on other goddesses or is it other faces of the Goddess - Blodeuwedd, Isis, Mary, Aphrodite, Ereshkigal, Nephthys, Freyja, Ariadne, Inanna, Eve, Star Goddess - run so sweetly and the words flow as refreshingly as a mountain stream , bubbling away with information & perceptions that carries you along without you realising it so when the end of the section comes it's much quicker than you imagined & you feel completely immersed, a kind of baptism perhaps of this particular aspect of the divine feminine. It's a very beautiful experience just reading this book. I soon thirsted for more and read another chapter but there is no reason as it could be delayed if working more personally with one chapters facets for longer oneself. The personal life experiences Jane puts in are often moving and always touching & in keeping with the flow of her poetry & prose. The book is actually organised to the very helpful & informative advice she offers to totally immerse oneself personally into Aspecting the Goddess; Walking with; Researching; Dedicating; Presencing; Enacting myth & Aspecting. It is provided in a very mature way of advice & guidance to adapt to ones own ways rather than a set of rules which I've come across elsewhere. Although I do my own aspecting already I found her thorough advice & guidance excellent for expanding my own perspectives, broadening my horizons so I can grow on my own path, which is exactly what I was hoping to gain from the book. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I do.

Practical and Poetic
Beautifully written, this book gives an insight both into the nature of the goddesses profiled, and into the praxis of working with them. The accounts of goddess workings are highly personal but remain of general interest, and the book contains practical advice and caveats as well.
