Worked great and was easy to install. It took a bit of fiddling to get the water level where I wanted but after I got that done, it worked great. the chickens love it!

after mounting, the bowl sits at an angle, tilting downward in the front. as such, the water depth at the front of the bowl is greater than it is at the back of the bowl. since the float that is responsible for opening or closing the valve is at the back of the bowl, its range of motion is very small. the water level can't get high enough to shut off the valve completely before spilling over the front side of the bowl. adjusting the floater arm downward prevents the valve from opening. I have been making adjustments to this thing daily and can't get it to work properly.update 7/24/23:I loosened the bolts at the back of the waterer until I had enough space behind it to wedge a thin piece of wood back there behind the bowl. this resulted in the basin being more level and the valve arm having a greater range of movement. in addition, I rotated the plastic valve piece a bit, which made the float arm travel more vertically. finally, I reduced the water pressure to the valve to a minimum b/c too much pressure will force the valve to stay open. I finally have the waterer functioning, but I feel that I still must keep an eye on it once a day to make sure it stays that way.update 7/26/23:after seeing my review, the seller (SStoneNet) reached out to me and offered to troubleshoot my installation or send me a replacement waterer. I declined because I did finally get mine working with the above-mentioned tweaks, but in response to their effort to put the customer first at their own expense, I am raising my star rating to 4.

We have goats and dogs and these waterers are working perfectly. It is so nice to know they can't run out of water!

The media could not be loaded.  This is already rusting after two months. we use this in a southern california backyard with two dogs. The rusting in the bowl has barely started, but I can see where this is going. Really disappointed, I purchased this because I figured it would be the last water bowl we needed. I'm not sure how to contact the seller as they say they have 24/7 support, but I don't see anywhere to reach anyone on the page.-edit-Their team was extremely responsive and said they would work through the issue with the QC team. Hopefully there will be improvements

Screws that comes with it, are not stainless steel, so I have to get some stainless steel screws, sharp edges in the outside, warning when you cleaning. House do not fit to a regular spigot

Over all it looks like it will work very well. Fast delivery.There were no directions that came with it.
