I bought this for the silent alarm because I wake up for work early in the morning while my husband is still sleeping. The reviews were great and the price was right so I dove right in.Pros:The gentle buzzing wakes me up and doesn't hurt or startle me awake.The price is great when comparing it to it's $150+ competitors.The app (I use DayDay Band) is easy to work and it's nice to see what quality of sleep I got the night before; it really explains why i might feel groggy one day while energetic the next.The battery life is great, I only ever have to charge it every other day or so and even then the battery is only half depleted after that much time of use.Cons:My band didn't come with instructions so I just had to figure it out myself. That in itself was pretty easy, but also inconvenient. Nowhere on the packaging does it say what the app needed to work the band is and that was a pain for me digging through the comments to find out what people were using.It doesn't count a lot of steps I take. To the point that it has discouraged me from even wearing it as a fitness tracker.The biggest con and the reason this is a three-star review rather than a four-star is that very often the clock is a few minutes off. In fact, it's practically every other time that I check it that the clock is off. It's never more than 1-3 minutes off, but when I'm primarily using it as an alarm in the morning I need the clock to be correct. I don't want to take my chances with it ever being VERY off and making me late for work or waking me up too early and depriving me of sleep.OVERALL:This will work well as a stand-in until I can get an actual, reliable FitBit that has all of the same features but assured to work. Don't get this unless you eitherA) Don't mind having to constantly correct the clock by going into the app and syncing again, and again, and again...or B) You don't mind spending an extra $20-some on top of the already expensive FitBit that you now have to buy to replace it.

0 out of 5 stars really, Had less than a day so far and my thoughts so far:,Very basic controls all done through separate app, turns off for no reason randomly and can only be restarted by putting on charge clip, waterproof but water causes screen home button to activate and turn off unit, 0/10 would not spend money on this product again

Only tracks steps...barely. Only gets calories burnt by you walking. Since it doesn't get heart rate, if you're working out it won't get calories burnt.

Band tracks steps ok but linking to the bester band app on your phone doesn't work worth beans. Can't force it to sync like you can with fit bit products. I deleted that app and installed the day day band app and it works perfectly. Careful which app you try to use.

It's ok...the sleep meter won't work with me and the step counter is completely wrong...I am less than pleased.

Only thing holding this device back is the terrible application for mobile.
