The check valve seems to be well made and should hold up overtime. It's made of brass and has plastic valve parts. It fits nicely and I strongly recommend it. I recommend the seller as well.

Keep extras on hand. Exact replacement
We could only get cold water in our RV kitchen sink and figured out it was the check value, it was easy to install and within minutes we had hot water flowing again. We now keep extras on hand, just incase.
