Cooling fan is just for fancy. When you plug in this device the HDMI cable can't go into the PS5 slim, so you can't charge while you play. Also the controllers are precariously balanced atop this device, not enough support there.

Once installed it seems natural with the PS5.But I don't think the fans in the back are doing anything.Regardless. Great for keeping your controllers charged
