About half of the plates were polished, clean edges, and looked very sanitary and clean; the other half however, had dark spots/mold on the back of the plate and jagged edges... I didn't even want to use them for my guests! I'm all for eco-friendly options but it seems like there's some inconsistency with the production of these plates, and someone is cutting corners. My fiancé and I were gathering ideas for rustic wedding and we found out about palm leaf plates on Pinterest. Liked the idea, searched on Amazon and Voila!As we are seriously planning to use palm leaf plates on our BIG wedding, we have ordered sample plates from few brands to compare and avoid any risk. By far, this is the BEST brand in terms of shape, texture and quality.These are not only beautiful, but also very clean. Way sturdier than plastic/paper plates. Will bring elegant look to any occasion. Hopefully, our wedding arrangement will be awesome with these plates.

I purchased these plates for craft purposes, and worked great for food purposes as well. Had hundreds of wine corks to use so I made wine cork trivets. The top is the 8 in plate, the bottom the 7 inch plate. I used wood glue and glued 2 plates together for added strength. Some of the plates were a little wonky so I had to play around with some to ensure the 2 plates fit snugly. Allow to dry overnight and fill in any cracks in the glue along the edge of the plate. I then sanded the edges smooth with 150 grit paper. The corks were glued with wood glue as well. Worked out great and didn't have to build wooden frames for them. Wonderful Covid project!!!

All of these plates had green mold on them. Unfortunately, I did not take a picture before throwing them away, because all of this was discovered very quickly while preparing last-minute for a party, but they were totally unusable. We were hoping to have these nicer disposable plates, but ended up having to grab cheap plates from the CVS down the street because there was no time for a better option. Would not recommend.

These plates added a unique touch to our wedding! I tied them together with the 9.5 x 6.5 trays & wrapped utensils & set them on the tables. They worked out well & some guests didn't want to throw them away(not realizing that they were disposable). I felt better spending almost the same amount that I would've spent on plastic on these(which are better for the environment & my guests). They're lightweight, durable & can handle the heat! After unwrapping them, I was concerned that my guests would think that they looked dirty & not want to use them, but it was the opposite, compliments all around. =)

These are amazing, and if you don't use too fatty or greasy foods, you can easily handwash them which makes them a great bargain. I love the ethical production and green nature of these plates! Have recommended them to many people. We are using them as paper plate swap outs. If we reuse each 10 times (I'm sure that'll be very easy) they'll pay for themselves in no time. Love 'em.

After using plastic and paper based disposable products for a long time, we (me and my wife) wanted to give a try with bio-based products. In fact, we were about to buy bamboo/wood made plates when I noticed this item - plates made from fallen leaves. We thought, which can be a better move than to buy a product that does not cause any harm to the environment at all. It actually helps the environment since it is compostable and bio-degradable.Of course, there were other brands like this particular one, but we were motivated by the great advertisement from the seller. And people like us who care about the presentation/style of the product packaging, the appearance of this brand along with the name was just the right one.When we got this delivered, my wife loved the item instantly since it was just like the picture at the Amazon. Finally, we got a chance to use them and trust us, we couldn't be more satisfied. This product is very sturdy unlike the paper and plastic ones; the textures are all natural and not to mention, way more attractive than it seems. We are going to use them for the up-coming Holiday dinner parties. We hope that our guests would love them as well.Price might bother you a bit because of its higher price than plastic and paper plates. But, think about it that you are using all natural and environment-friendly products. In some way, you are helping the planet at the end of the day.Note: Bamboo/wood made plates are also in the similar price-range but you can never call them entirely Eco-friendly.We surely recommend this product.

I plan to use these very stylish, eco-friendly plates for an upcoming wedding rehearsal dinner. Its naturalness makes it perfect for the theme, which is a fusion of Northern Virginia’s Wine Country, deep-south backyard BBQ, and Filipino traditions. I’m not sure yet if I’ll use them for appetizers, dinner sides, or dessert. Regardless, they’re the perfect alternative to paper or plastic plates. BTW - I used them at home before finalizing my decision. They are durable and do not get “soggy” or limp even with the most sauciest of foods.

Great quality, beautiful natural look, so sturdy, decorates the garden party table, unlike any other disposable "crockery" one would normally get. When mixed with different colours and garden themed table, they look fantastic (see photo).

I loved these plates, great quality, really sturdy and best of all compostable!

I opened the box and one of the plates is chipped. I have to say, the plates look really nice. I bought two packs sadly im going to have to send one back.
