great camera, but like the T1 earlier model better.
i bought the T1 model in 2016 and had worked for me really well for 4 years. but just a few months ago, it started to not record anymore. i tried new sd cards, re-formatting, re-setting, etc. but nothing worked. so decided to get another, as i figured i definitely got good enough use to warrant purchasing another. since the T1 is pretty much no longer available, i figured the T3 would be just as good if not better. so after using the T3 now, i'd have to say by far i preferred the T1. the only thing i like better about the T3 is that it comes in black and more discreet. but that's about it. the main reason, is the T3 startup time before it begins recording is too long in my opinion. once starting my car up, the T1 used to begin recording in about 5 seconds. the T3 takes about 20 seconds. so just remember that, as a lot can happen in 20 seconds when you're pulling out of a parking spot or such, and during that time the T3 will miss anything that happens. so if you're worried about that, you'll need to be aware that you need to sit there and wait a little longer before starting your drive. also when turning off the car (power) the T1 still recorded for a good 5 to 10 seconds of additional video while the T3 will immediately stop recording. could be because of the battery (T1) vs the capacitor (T3) powering the units. also i noticed the remote button on the T3 is also delayed a bit too. when i would press it for the T1, it would instantly make the unit beep and record the wonderful video and shot. when i press it for the T3 there's a slight lag of about a full second before i will hear that beep signaling that it has started the special recording clip. so because of the lagginess of the T3, it really disappointed me enough that i may actually go and buy a T2 since it looks like that model still uses the same battery as the T1 and not the capacitor power of the T3. i will keep the T3 as a backup and also it is too late to return it now. it still is a good/great camera and since i'm used to the goluk software by now, they are my camera of choice. i used to use blackvues in the past (had and tried many models) and hands down i like the goluks much better.update 5/7/20:now i'd rate the camera as 1 star or zero if i could. took out sd card to check the videos after maybe two trips (not driving that much these days due to stay-at-home mandate) so only trips to grocery. well. when i put in the sd card, kept getting unable to read card messages. i re-formatted sd card, and even reset the camera and tested to see if it was a fluke. well, the same thing kept happening. so i even then tried a fresh brand new sd card that i had on hand, and same thing happened. seems like the camera won't write anything anymore and simply errors out the card. basically useless now. glad amazon has widened the return window date.

Unreliable. T2 was better. Goes to sleep doesn’t wake up have to reboot.
Works good when it isn’t sleeping. App for iPhone doesn’t work, won’t connect. App needed an update after iPhone update. Won’t connect to live view. Had to use old android tablet to connect to adjust cam angle. Settings menu partially supported. Overall look for something better that absolutely works with iPhone BY customer reviews, not a manufacturer or some ad. Apple instituted a privacy change on apps and if an app doesn’t follow their rules, the get the boot. Finally! Now about those ridiculous permissions….

Very nice camera. Can be easily combined with a Fire or other cheap tablet for a backup camera or load camera application!
I purchased a Goluk T2 at the beginning of 2017, I use it as a forward looking dashcam on my work truck. I liked the T2 so much that when I wanted a cargo and load camera I decided to go with the T3. It allows larger sd cards to be used, and has all the same features that I use. I park my work truck outside, the security mode gives me peace of mind that if somebody took an interest in the contents of the bed of the truck I would at least catch the thief on camera, if not outright deter them when they notice the blinking light! Additionally, I bought an Amazon Fire tablet and vent holder for the tablet. I use the tablet as a screen for the Goluk T3 so that I can observe the load on the truck rack for broken straps/shifting around while I drive. Works very well! For anybody else trying this, the Fire tablet will require installation of the Google App Store, a feat possible via instructions on the internet. The Goluk T3 has so far not had the same "sd card is bad" error that the T2 had on 3 different main brand sd cards.

It works.
Video Quality is good and all that but my car has this feature where when I'm at a red light the engine shuts off to save gas. But when I take my foot off the break the car will kill power to the 12v outlet it plugs into for about a half second. this causes the camera to begin its shutdown process the it begins it startup process. It probably doesn't start recording until about 8-10 seconds after I take my foot off the break. So I'm losing footage at intersections which is not an ideal place for a dash cam to stop recording. I was hoping it had a built in battery to help prevent that. I don't want to plug the unit in an always on outlet in case it drains my battery. I'll have to come up with a solution.

Motion detector = Garbage
i bought this for the motion detection feature. Unless you waive your hand 2 inches from the camera, it doesn't work. What a joke. I'm so angry I bought this thing.

Multiple Failures, Shady App Permissions
I've had three of these fail over the past three years. If you buy one of these, you are asking for a headache. On top of that, their phone app requires "Draw over other apps" permissions, which is completely unnecessary and a HUGE security red-flag. I'll be running, not walking away from this company's products in the future.

FAKE SD CARD IN PACKAGE
The item works great except for the fact they have me a FAKE SD card. It should of never advertised it with it I would of been happier just having to already buy my own instead of being tricked into saying it has one in it. It's all plastic that's been painted to look exactly like an ad card 1st time I've ever been scammed on amazon ever.
