I ordered the Puroast whole bean in both French Decaf and French regular. Despite the name "French" which suggests a bolder roast, I found both the decaf and the regular, although acceptable, rather mild for my taste and not nearly as flavorful as the Puroast House Blend Drip (preground). I need to use more coffee per pot of French roast (whether regular or decaf) than of Puroast House Blend. For decaf, I prefer HealthWise low acid colombian decaf (also available on Amazon). The flavor is much richer than Puroast French Decaf. Note: I have not tried Puroast House Blend decaf so I can't offer a comparison with HealthWise Colombian decaf.

Low acidity is important in my house, so this gets 5 stars for that - no heartburn with this.But… the flavor is totally mediocre, so 2.5 stars there. Good value for the $$, so 4 stars there. Overall: I give 3

this used to be my favorite, but something has happened: a recent package tasted like chicory, which I do not like. Thinking that it was just a fluke, I bought another package later on; and it wasn't quite as bad, but it still had chicory in it and just does not taste the same as before. I'll never buy Puroast again

The coffee is more like tea than coffee. It is not bold nor rich in flavor. It taste weak. Although I have to have low acid I will not buy this again.

Tastes blah. I add a teaspoon of Starbucks or Pete's. Helps. Did relieve my heartburn issues

We tried to like this. But regardless of how it's brewed, it's really bad. Gave one bag away, tossed what was left.

I received my order quickly. This is my second order. I like this coffee because it is easy on my stomach. I mix it with full caffeine coffee because I need that in the morning but not too much. It has worked fine for me.

Too weak and bland tasting. I like a heavy, dark roast but though I'd give this a try. No more/.

Not an enjoyable coffee ,but if you need it decaffeinated thats the taste.
