Update: The metal contact point on the back for magnet holder use has come off. Seems the adhesive on the metal disc just isn't strong enough. This is disappointing, given that now I have no way to mount my phone for use as GPS while driving. I use this on a magnetic mount that's away from my heater vent, so it can't be based on that. But even if I did, the metal disc should not have come off. Gotta find a different set up now. UGH.I recently upgraded phones and needed a new case. My old case was very spartan, but served its purpose on my iPhone 6s Plus. I got used to having a pop socket on it, but didn't like the kiddie look to that setup. That said, I purchased this case for the ring, as well as the metal contact point in the back to use with magnetic car mounts and stands.The ring circumference is a bit large overall, but serves it's purpose to allow for one handed typing while walking; and the metal contact is perfect for my usage. I've also found that it's a pretty protective case, as I dropped my phone onto the blacktop of a parking lot yesterday (about a 3 foot drop), and it survived unscathed.

This is a nice case, super slim, well made, however I give 3 stars because it didn’t work for me. I have small hands and feel as if the ring doesn’t fit and is positioned too high for comfort. When holding it through the ring, I tried putting it on different fingers to find the most comfortable (which I’m sure if different for everyone). I couldn’t find a comfy spot that didn’t feel awkward or clumsy, and it didn’t feel secure. I wanted to be able to position it at a level where my thumb would be at the bottom of the screen, for scrolling, or taking a pic, access to keyboard..but doing that meant turning the ring around to face a downward position which made my finger almost slip out. I really wanted to love this, but I wasn’t able to get comfortable with it. Also, although the case looks good, I don’t see it offering any protection if the phone is dropped. I guess that’s what the ring is meant to protect against, but I’d rather have a good case designed for drop protection. I prefer the thing you stick to the back of the phone and it pops out.

It’s okay, was excited for the case and when I first got it really enjoyed it. After a month started noticing the flaw in the design and how the part that protects the camera gets scratched up and blurs your images so you can’t use your camera to it’s fullest potential. Now I’m going to be getting another kind of case because everytime I want to take a nice picture I have to take the phone off.. would give it 5 stars if they had a better design for what kind of material they use for the protection of the lens.May update review with a photo later of the camera..Love the ring/kickstand tho as it works great, and the color is very nice redNote I’ve lightly dropped it a couple times on carpet and once on sidewalk and did it’s job in protecting it. The case is slippery and it has slipped out of my hands a few times. The good thing is when I dropped my phone, the case is sturdy enough to protect my phone. When I got the case, the ring was stiff and didn’t move much which kept my phone standing on its side. But after a couple of weeks, the ring lost its stiffness and it’s loose to the touch.Update: I provided my review on 1/11/2018 at 8:37 pm and customer service contacted me immediately at 9:58 pm to give me 2 options to satisfy my issue. I'm updating my rating from 2 to 4 due to the fact that customer service responded quickly to satisfy the issue. The case that I received might have been a defect.

I've had this iPhone 7 plus case with ring for 5 months. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because the ring supports the phone in the horizontal position only when laid on a table. I bought a separate case with ring for my other iPhone and THAT supports the iPhone vertically & horizontally. That's the only negative thing so far. The pros are: durability (still looks new after a 2 month overseas travel), can charge it even with case on, protects my iphone well though I've dropped it several times on my carpet floor, thin enough to put in my jeans pocket, easy to remove. After 5 months, the ring is still intact and I use it a lot. I recommend this iphone case.

Purchased for the husband. He hates having cases. He has mentioned to me on numerous occasions that it takes away the beauty of the phone itself. Now I see him rubbing his phone on his jeans one day and I just knew at that moment he most likely dropped it. He had that look on his face of relief when he realized he almost cracked his almost $1k phone. I went and purchased this due to how nice it looked and I enjoyed the ring feature. I placed it on his phone overnight and surprisingly he inspected it while nodding his head. I like seeing him using the ring mount feature. It mounts the phone up at an angle best while horizontal. I do prefer vertical but to him he enjoys the latter. It's not bulky and does seem to protect the phone very well. Definitely good quality and the way it's made keeps in in your hand and off the floor.

So far, has protected my I phone 8 plus from drop, sand, water and dirt.But today, after rinsing it off, I found condensation in the “camera lens bubble.”(see pics)1st time that’s happened.I checked the case for a good seal....and it had one.No water intrusion...just the condensation in front of the camera lens.The only way to get rid of it...is to disassemble the phone case ...and the more you do that...the closer you get to a seal failure.But only happened the one time.Also, I love that the plug for the charging port...is designed to come off! So if you accidentally pull on it too hard, it comes off but can be re-installed. Or it can be replaced without having to buy a whole new phone case.Really good design.
