this is by far the best study guide for passing the PSPO exam
As with the PSM Exam Prep book writtent by Musthafa, this is by far the best study guide for passing the PSPO exam. Musthafa has done a wonderful job outlining the topical areas that are covered in the exam, including both topics that are directly from the Scrum Guide as well as the Nexus Guide and those topics which are not yet may appear on the exam. The quizzes at the end of each chapter were very thought provoking in ensuring that the reader fully grasped the essence of the principles contained within the Scrum and Nexus Guides, including a much deeper understanding of the Product Owner role. In addition, Musthafa's explanations of why certain answers were right or wrong guided the reader towards a better understanding of how to think through and respond to the questions on the exam. Lastly, Musthafa provides helpful tips on how to prepare for the exam, including the open scrum exam, the open product owner exam, and the open Nexus exam on Scrum.org, including the timing in which one should score 100% prior to taking the actual exam. By carefully reading through this book, accompanied by answering each question and reading why or why not an answer was right or wrong, followed by the exam preparation steps recommended by Musthafa, I was well prepared for taking and passing the PSPO exam. Kudos to the author for putting together two excellent study guides for the PSM and PSPO exams!!

Good for revision
The book is good for revision of the material in the Scrum Guide. It also provides some additional related information.I think the book would have benefited from some editing by a native speaker. A few of the questions in the quizzes included were not very clear.

Strongly recommended for anyone taking the PSPO-1
Purchased this in the summer of 2017 to pass the PSPO-1 test, which I did with at 95% score! While attaining PSPO was my main goal, I took a deliberate detour and took the PSM-1 test first. I recommend that approach to anyone that doesn't mind the $150 cost of the PSM test, as it is the source of several of the PSPO questions. I read and outlined the scrum guide, then took the PSM (relying on Mohammed's other excellent prep book). I then read this book, studied (and outlined) the Nexus guide (do not skip this step -- I promise it is short), then took the test. The PSPO test is a little bit harder to study for than the PSM, and this guide feels like a slightly looser fit to the material (as compared to the author's PSM guide) as I was reading it. I felt slightly less confident going in to the test. Nevertheless, when I got to the test I found myself very well prepared. The test forces the student to understand the difference between core scrum (as described by the scrum guide) and the best practices that have grown around scrum (user stories, for example). Even experienced practitioners taking the PSPO will benefit from this guide. At $5 for the kindle edition, and given the $200 test fee, this book is very strongly recommended.

Highly recommended for passing the Product Owner exam!
I used only this book, the scrum.org guide and the open assessments in preparation for the scrum.org Professional Scrum Product Owner exam. I passed with 94% (85% is the pass mark), so it did the job. I'd definitely recommend it.The book offers many sample questions and clearly explains which are the correct answers. This is a big advantage over the open assessments on scrum.org, where no explanations are given. The book sticks to the core of the scrum guide, which is ideal for passing the exam. The grammar and spelling of the book could be better, but for 3 dollars one can hardly complain.Other books recommended on scrum.org take a lot longer to read and elaborate on too many things outside of the scrum guide. Which is fine if you want to deepen your knowledge, but in preparation for the exam this is probably a disadvantage, since the questions are pretty strict about what is scrum and what is not scrum. The book recommends also taking the Nexus open exam until you achieve 100%, but I found this to be overkill (and quite a lot of extra work). The book chapter and sample questions on Nexus is more than enough to pass the exam.Since you are reading this: I wish you good luck preparing for the exam!

The book is a bit pricey.
I purchased this to do self study for the PSM I exam. I found 8 exam dumps that did more for me for $15.00

Solid book, but could use more sample assessment questions.
Edit: I just took the PSPO1 exam and passed. Yep this book is pretty solid for prepping for the exam.Ok I almost gave it 4 stars, but I will stick with 5.I have NOT taken the PSPO1 test yet, but I will soon, and will update how well this book truly prepped me. If it didn't, then maybe a 4 star is in order. I will come back later.Good:- Very solid content, and solid questions to test your understanding. There's content in here NOT in the Scrum Guide but you need to know it.- Good structure of how he organizes the content. Not Good:-There wasn't a comprehensive master test at the end of the book like his PSM1 book did that covers all of the content together.- In the official Scrum test, if a question has multiple answers, it will clearly state "Select the 3 right answers" or whatever the number is. The author did not write his questions like that consistently. Just "select all that apply".

Gute Unterstützung für PSM I

Buena herramienta de estudio PSPO-I

A must read source for the PSPO I Exam.
The Professional Scrum Product Owner: Guide to Pass PSPO 1 Certification by Mohammed M. S. Ali, is very successful in putting together the following points:* Providing a very good analysis of the content distribution of the exam;* Pointing the right sources for study;* Containing a set of trustworthy questions which addressed situations that push you to research more and to reflect on scrum values, situations and between lines of the Guide. When I decided to get my PSPO I certification I had in mind that I wanted to consolidate all my past experiences as a PO. Also, to strengthen my knowledge of the Scrum framework, to mature my agile mindset and to target the highest possible score in order to make sure I could pass on my first attempt.I bought a "voucher" more than a year before taking the exam. Since before it, I was reading online content, reading Scrum books (like Galen's one), applying knowledge on a daily basis on projects, observing other teams and always reviewing the Scrum Guide. It was (and still is) a very immersive study.I studied a lot and felt I was in a good shape for taking the PO role in any project. In spite of that, I only felt prepared and confident for taking the PSPO I test when I finished reading Mohammed's book.I realized I was very focused on some areas and had a lot of things to improve still. My strengths were in teams' dynamics and backlog management. My weaknesses were on knowledge on scaling scrum and implementing agility in organizations. The study on those last subjects had a major impact on my exam results and on my work today.I don't recommend you to take the exam only for the certification itself. As you may have heard it before, the value is not only on the result but mainly on the path. Take it as a consolidation process, a trophy for your studies and experiences, a milestone. In any case, before you take it, make sure to read Mohammed's book. Take it as a source for reviewing your background and identifying the main improvements before the test.Another good complementary resource I used was a set of simulated exams from mplaza.pm Very worth it too. Not forgetting the open assessments on Scrum.org.Good luck on your own scrum path!
