I like the deep color of an amethyst, however this was not the case with these pair of earrings. Maybe I didn't understand that raw gem could mean unpolished and rough looking. It resembled a common rock. I guess I will have to pay to have it polished and reset. I'm going to stick with traditional earrings. The quality was not what I expected. I would not feel comfortable wearing it as is. I did not weigh it.

These earrings are perfect to wear with any outfit, casual or dressy. The color goes with everything. I prefer the size to be a little smaller. If they were smaller I’d buy them in more colors!

The stones were almost black, very little green color to the stone. Gave them to a friend and she loved them.
