Digital Temperature Control Electric Tea Kettle

We have gone thru many of these hot water boilers and this is the easiest to maintain and best looking. The controls are embedded behind the plastic covering so you could actually wash the outside of the pot. The lettering could scratch off if not careful washing but you only need to gently touch the surface to make setting changes. Also the lid is free from any interference if you want to wash the stainless inside and it rinses out completely free from any internal obstructions on the side or flat lid.. Temp settings are a touch setting using the printed touch area on the side instead of buttons that wear out. It has multiple heat settings for teas and full boil. So far the best performance and design we have owned and also mid-priced. Hamilton Beach has outperformed much more expensive electric pots we've owned. Acutally we use one of my kids old hamilton beach electric water pots from college as a spare when they finished school over 10yrs ago. We thought it was a cheap pot for the dorm but nope it lasted this long. Its just not as pretty as the new one we reviewed above.

Boils super fast and very easy to use. No leaks experienced so far, the wide mouth has made it easy to wash and clean. Pretty quiet compared to a traditional stovetop kettle, and I like being able to set it and forget it without worries. The keep warm function is also perfect for my forgetful self—stays hot which makes it easy to restart the heat cycle if need be. Best price for the quality and size from my extensive research. I would love a gooseneck version just for the aesthetics, but this is still very chic and streamline which I like.

it boils within minutes, tells you the temp as its boiling, lets you select different boil modes for different teas, the outside of it doesn't get hot (the top does however, the stainless steel part, so watch out for that), the top flips open with the push of the button, and the inside is all stainless steel no plastic! whats not to love? hehe

Edit, stopped working after a few months. Contacted company with no response. Like that it is stainless inside, heats fast, has temp control but not too fancy. Cord stored at bottom so is nice as we have a short distance from our outlet to the machine. I have had several kettles over the years and like this one a lot. My previous was hot to touch so didn't like that and wanted one that was safer and had the temp control for green tea. Don't like that the power sticker wore off after a month. Not visible at all right now. We can still tap it to turn on but it is not visible. I don't see anyone else had this issue in the reviews so not sure why ours did. It is still usable but shouldn't have happened in the first place.

While I had to mark this item down a star due to it stopped working 9 months after purchase. During those nine months it worked flawlessly and was one of my wife's favorite items in the kitchen. However, when it simply stopped working we were disappointed. I thought I'd try to reach out to Hamilton Beach customer service. Pleasantly surprised that within a few minutes of sending an email I received a reply. A request for a few pieces of information of the unit and we were told a replacement would be shipping to us. Can't say enough about their fantastic customer service.

This kettle trucks, it makes heating water as easy as it gets, and fast! I'm a tea drinker, perfect temps of water for your steeping pleasure. Super easy to use, easy to set up, breaking in is a breeze. Just be careful to NOT open the lid when pouring boiling hot water out. Minor steam injury, totally my fault on the third dump during break in. Hope you read this and learn from my mistake. Tested out the boil dry protection, works great. Excellent value at any price.

This is a great kitchen accessory to have handy. I have been using this for over a year and it makes boiling water pretty efficient. I typically boil water in this and transfer to the stove for cooking too save a few minutes. It has different settings for various tea types (e.g., black, green, white) which is a nice feature. Pro tip: If you have hard water buildup over time you can boil vinegar in the kettle to remove the calcium without using some expensive decalcifying product.

I use this kettle every day to heat water for tea. I love the temperature functions so that I can have the water a just the right temperature for the tea I am making. The lid is strudy and opens easily with the button at the top of the handle. It is lightweight and easy to fill. The quality and value for the money spent is exceptional.

Ladies in German, I’m going to get straight to the point very very disappointed the brand it’s very good but the only problem the voltage of the electricity is 110 the seller could’ve went the extra mile and mentioned that but he didn’t. Oh well to the trash. I’m not gonna use it. All the house is 220 V.

Es perfecta. Único detalle: empieza con la temperatura para té verde (y tiene muchas más), que es más alta que la que se necesita para el mate. Yo le pongo al final un poco de agua fría y listo.
