Travel size
This was my first flower press that I purchased a few months ago, and whilst I am still just a beginner at this hobby, I now have 3 presses and think I have a few good points to share for any other newbies to pressing.Measuring at 10cm by 10cm, this press is definitely on the smaller side, and may hold you back if you plan on pressing larger things, such as sprigs, complete flowers (including leaves, stems, etc), or larger flowers. At it's smaller size, however, it makes it great for pressing smaller flowers, such as buttercups, daisies, clover, pansies, blossoms, orchids, and blossoms. In this set, you get the two wooden pressing boards, the wing nuts and screw, and a couple of sheets of plain paper for pressing your flowers between. I found the overall quality a little cheap (sharp corners, unpolished wood, lack of "spacers"), but this wasn't bad for the price I paid (approx £7). I added some cut up cardboard and replaced the paper included with actual blotting paper, and found this was a great way at adding more layers to the press (increasing the amount I could press in one go), and improved the outcomes. There are no instructions included, but a lot of it is self explanatory, or tutorials on pressing can be found online.I think this press could work great for anyone treating it as I do - it makes a wonderful travel press. Since it's small and lightweight, it's perfect for slipping in my tote and using it to press small flowers on the go. If needed, I can transfer them to my larger press when I get home. It would also make a lovely beginners press for children / beginners (although you will need to be prepared to give a little trial and error, a bit of research, and potentially do a little work to "uplevel" the press for best results and maximum payoff). It's easy to store, and doesn't hurt the wallet if you don't enjoy the hobby. If, however, you're on a budget, or wish to press larger things from the get go, you can easily pass on this and simply press between some parchment paper inside a heavy book, or, alternatively, commit to a larger press for best value for money. I love and will continue to use this, but I think that, ultimately, it will hold you back as there isn't a lot of space to work with at the end of the day. It really depends on your goals!

Be aware of size
Its extremely small, but for a beginner like me, its ok to start off with if doing miniature flowers. So make sure you check and understand the measurements before you buy it :)
