Human Brain Model
I am teaching the Nervous System Anatomy and Pathology to my almost 13 year old grand daughter. Last year I bought the complete disarticulated skeleton from Amazon for her 12th Birthday. It was a great item! She is very clever so I started teaching her my 3rd year anatomy course. Over this Covid year, she has learned in detail - Skull, Facial Bones, Upper and Lower Extremity, Shoulder and Pelvic Girdle, Ribs and Sternum, Bones and Joints, all completed over the computer. As well she has learned, in detail, the Cardiovascular, and Digestive System. She really knew a lot about the blood vessels and nerves of the brain and spinal column. They were taught in detail with the foramina of the skull. I bought the brain for her birthday this year. It is really quite nice in the detail. There are some things that could be included at the bottom of the brain, but It can be taken apart quite easily, and does help with the three dimensional view for her. She lives in another city, so she has the items I buy with her. The nerve roots are not in detail, and the Circle of Willis is not complete. Other than that, the material is sturdy, the magnets hold the parts together, the basic detail is there - you get to see the cerebrum, cerebellum, and brain stem clearly. For about $60.00, I think it is very good value.

Good review for a medical student
There are parts that I wish had more detail, but overall it was helpful and includes all the major parts. For the price, this is a very helpful learning tool.

A good budget option
This is a pretty solid product for the price! The build quality is a little iffy; there are very obvious seams on the brain parts, and they're pretty clearly hollow molded parts, but the structural accuracy is pretty solid overall. Gyri and sulci are pretty accurate, as is the cerebellum and the cranial nerves. Some of the other brainstem structures leave something to be desired, though; the floor of the 4th ventricle is practically featureless. Additionally, while this model has some of the major arteries included, the Circle of Willis is not complete; it's cut off at the Posterior Communicating Arteries.Overall, the rubber construction is nice to hold and seems pretty durable, and at half the cost of some of the pricier models, this product totally justifies its pricetag. Absolutely a great introductory/practice model, if not necessarily a professional-quality teaching aid.

Worth the money
Have been using this for a high school biology and a Health and Nutrition class. This is a great size model and the students enjoy very much being able to get a hands on look at how the bring is put together.
