Fantes Twisting Garlic Mincer, The Italian Market Original since 1906

I wasn't sure this garlic mincer would really work but if does work like a charm. If you're using large garlic just quickly cut it into thirds. Works with mincing ginger root as well.

It works and it's cheap. I bought it in March, and one of the teeth broke off right away. I found it in my dinner. Another tooth broke off a month ago. Now it's October, and a third tooth broke off last night. I do not recommend getting this. It's poorly constructed. It did chop up garlic nicely, but now with so many teeth missing it's not working well anymore. It also was always a challenge to get it clean in the dishwasher, because there are too many concave surfaces that hold onto dirty water. I know it's cheap, but I think you should spend the extra ten dollars to get one that lasts more than... zero uses. I was going to give this two stars, because I don't like giving one star reviews. But rereading what I've written, sorry, this is a one-star product. And then I took some pictures and noticed actually four of the teeth have broken off. Zero of five stars. Would not buy again.

Great garlic mincer. It is easy to clean.

This is an okay product. Don't put too many cloves in and they must be cut into pieces. Minced pieces tend to gravitate to the outside rim and get stuck or don't mince up properly.

This product broke in the first use and bruised my hands trying to use it with 3 pieces of garlic. Then a piece broke off, couldn’t find it, and it ended up in my meal, in my mouth. Thankfully didn’t swallow it. Definitely would not buy this piece of garbage . Save the $12 and use a knife

I really like how easy it is to mince my garlic. I like these so much that I had to buy another one for my camping kit.

It's difficult to hold it closed and keep turning it. I could not put a whole clove in even after cutting it up into smaller pieces. It actually did not cut the pieces up at all. I'll stick to my garlic press.
