Lowell Foods Canned Stuffed Cabbage Rolls with Pork in Tomato Sauce 400g

Cabbage is nice and soft to eat. No hard chunks. Very small amount of meat stuffing, but great tasting. Didn't realize it was a tomato sauce, I thought it was paprika since the sauce was orange colored. Overall, it's a surprisingly good product that I will buy again.

I've loved stuffed cabbage (Sarma in Serbian) since I was a little boy. I'm 76 years old, a retired coal miner with lung disease, a widower and am retired. I bought the stuffed cabbage to try because I don't have the energy to cook my own. WOW! I am pleasantly surprised at the flavor of this canned food. All I did was add freshly ground black pepper, covered the rolls in a microwave safe bowl and cooked on high for 2 minutes. This is as close to homemade as is possible. I give it 5 stars!!!!!!

My son had purchased these stuffed cabbage rolls, and when I tried them, I was pleasantly surprised. To this day, nothing beats my grandmother's holubsti I grew up enjoying, but for a canned product, these are a good and easy substitute. I have since purchased a can for myself. I think they are a little pricey, but great for a treat now and then.
