Purchased the Princess Smart Heater and sent it back because it wasn't efficient enough. The TCP is miles better and warms up my room quickly. Love it.

Trying to download the app to my iPhone

It's own app is OK easy to setup, after it's own app setup the Google hub works. However, the Amazon app link is difficult one. The skill is added but can find the heater, it found the cctv and the light bulbs ... disappointed.

This unit keeps my bedroom warm and doesn’t keep making a ‘clicking’ in and out noise.It has 2 light setting 100 and 50% bright, I wish is had more tho. Doesn’t light up the room at night but you can see the lights.On standby it has a flashing white led that I don’t like but again it doesn’t light up the room.The element is not exposed like a cheap toaster so doesn’t burn the air, it has a heat sink sort of thing around it.The glass front stays cool as is has a small gap away from the heater.Alexa can tell you the temperature of the room even when it’s in standby !You can set requested room temperature in an Alexa routine Or just by you asking it.The Alexa setup has caused many people issues but the instructions don’t really give the full picture.Basically don’t connect it via the App until you have the Alexa ‘Skill’ enabled, if you did then either reset the unit or remove and connect it back to the app.The TCP app needs an email and password, that’s it, all the other things it asks for can be disabled once setup.This is how I connected it…Download App and run it, it will ask you to create a TCP account, when it says switch on WiFI and search for device what it actual means is Bluetooth !Your phone will find it via BT, then select your 2.5Ghz WI-FI SSID and enter the WI-FI password from the App,Add the Alexa skill using the same user name and password.At this point I added the device before enabling the skill so it didn’t connect,I removed the device from the App then just added it back,Then Alexa will find it .. Done !Hope that helps .

I really like this product. It works easily. Great WiFi interface. And looks very swish

The box came damaged and not very secure considering it’s a fragile item . The heater had a dent in it and only came with one stand .

Got this as most things I use are tcp cannot fault this product only point I cannot see Is how much it cost to run so far works well warms room up quickly
