Effective and tough lures
I bought these about a month and a half ago. I am by no means a fishing expert. Caught this 10 foot 300+ pound Pacific Blue Marlin on the El Plomero double hook rig. Hook set in flawlessly, second hook actually provided a small amount of insurance when it wrapped around the bill. Wire held, crimps held, hooks held, and clip held through almost 2 hour fight. Skirt took a little damage as would be expected, lure head lost an eye, but otherwise a solid and effective lure. Obviously the fish saw it and liked it. Good product.

Not chrome heads
Picture depicts chrome heads. Items shipped were dull lead heads. Clearly a disappointment. Contemplating returning them .

Must have these if you high speed....

Lure rigging wire crimp failed at first use.
The lures are good quality but the wire leader slipped through the crimp on the 2 bigger lures on the first bite. All of the rigging including the swivel hook I had connected to it were intact with no damage at all. The entire lure rig was gone with no trace, leaving 2 poor crimps as the most likely cause.
