Perfect solution and fit
Dishwasher started leaking small amount of water every cycle. After investigating, found a tear in the gasket which didn’t seem like it would be the cause, but couldn’t find any other cause. The gasket was easy to install, took just a few minutes and leak is gone!

more flexible, good quality
If your old seal has calcium build up on it (and probably the door itself at the seal surface) you need a new one. It is impossible to remove caked on calcium and hard water deposits from the seal. When this happens, water can migrate around the seal and leak on the floor. This seal is very pliable, so you don't need to soak it in hot water first- but I did anyway. Clean the door surfaces where it meets the seal. Stopped the leaking. Also good to clean the float (not the float switch), mine had crud built up under and inside it. See YouTube.

Didn't solve my leaking issue
So I tried everything from the gasket to the spray arm to other random things. Turned out that the door vent was clogged. There was 15 years of gunk that needed cleaning. Once I that, no more leaks!

Beware Only One Correct Way to Install this Gasket
The gasket is a good fit and easy to install. Took me two weeks of diagnostics to realize that I installed the gasket in the wrong way.Long story short, with the new gasket installed in the wrong direction, the water leaked from the door latch and drained down to the bottom of the door. Sometimes no leaks; sometimes a puddle of water; and sometimes just a little. It all depended on how many dishes in the tub that blocked the water jet reaching the latch area. The correct installation is when a flat side faces the door (see pic). My first installation was backwards with a wedge side facing the door and it sealed everywhere except the door latch.Hope this will help someone.

Not sure if it will work
No usable instructions included or even a link to a clear video. Did not install because no directions and looked like it could be installed 2 different ways. Waste of money!

It works! Two things...
I wasn't sure if this item was going to be long enough. The length wasn't part of the product description and I read about similar items that needed to be stretched or cut or whatever. Nobody posted the length or correct length either. Turns out the measurement is on one of the item photos. It's 81.5 inches long. Longer than I needed but I didn't need to cut off the ends either.Second, I installed the seal backwards on my first try. It "looked right to me" but leaked more than the first seal. It's not obvious but I flipped the seal around and it works great. In fact, I now need to use a little extra force when closing the dishwasher because the seal is really doing it's job well.

Easy for most anyone to install
My Kenmore dishwasher started leaking since and I started hunting out YouTube videos to see what solutions were out there. One option was to replace the inner seal of the dishwasher. As I watched the video,I saw that this was easy even for novice do-it-yourselfers. This gasket is easily removed by gentle pulling and equally easy to install with just some slight pressure. Do note the orientation of the seal you remove so you can be sure to put the new one on in the same way. Good news...if your don't it's easy to remove again and flip around to putting back on the right way. One tip...find the middle of the gasket and start installing from the middle and then down each side. That was your know you have the finished product equal on both sides. Thank goodness for YouTube videos! It saved me a few hundred dollars to not have a repairman come in and so this really simple repair. All told, it shouldn't take a novice more than 20 minutes for the whole repair.

High quality product with easy install and perfect fit!
I recently purchased the W11177741 dishwasher gasket door seal by Lusperi for my Whirlpool dishwasher model:wdta50sahz0. My dishwasher was experiencing leaks at the bottom of the door and decided to try replacing the seal first before purchasing a new lower spray arm which is more expensive. Always best to try cheapest repairs first.Pros:1. Easy Installation: The gasket door seal was incredibly easy to install. It came with clear instructions that made the process hassle-free. I didn't need any special tools or expertise to get the job done, I simply pulled the old one out and pushed the new one in. One piece of advice while installing the new one is to soak a cloth with soapy water and run along the entire length of the new seal. This will allow the seal to pop into place much easier and with little to no effort at all.2. Perfect Fit: The Lusperi gasket door seal is compatible with Whirlpool and Kenmore dishwashers, and it fit my Whirlpool model perfectly. It lined up with the door and created a tight seal. I did need to trim a small bit from the ends3. Effective Seal: One of the main reasons I purchased this gasket door seal was to prevent any water leakage from my dishwasher. I'm happy to report that it does an excellent job of sealing the door tightly. I could easily tell looking at both my old and the new gasket, it was time for a change. My old gasket was quite flat at the time of replacement.Cons:1. Slightly Pricey: Compared to some other gasket door seals available in the market, the Lusperi version is a bit pricier. However, considering its effectiveness and the fact that it is compatible with multiple dishwasher brands, and is made of high-quality material, I believe it is worth the investment. This dishwasher gasket door seal by Lusperi is a reliable and effective product. It is easy to install, fits perfectly, and seals the dishwasher door tightly, preventing any leaks and provides excellent value for the price. Although this did not fix my leaking problem as it was later found to be the lower spray arm, I highly recommend this gasket door seal for Whirlpool and Kenmore dishwasher owners looking to replace their old or worn-out seals, even if you're not experiencing leaks at the moment.

Dishwasher leaks again after only 4 months of gasket change
It's been only 4 months since I installed this gasket and the dishwasher leaks again. Will be looking elsewhere for yet another replacement as this product does not seem to be anywhere close to the original gasket, that lasted over 5 years!!
