TacX T1402 Quick Release Skewer Rear, Black

I recently purchased a used Wahoo Kickr Snap indoor trainer and my quick release would not fit. As I searched for a replacement, I found it was highly recommended to not use the standard quick release on indoor trainers. For a reasonable price, this fit perfectly and I'm able to ride indoors without issue.

Works perfectly. If you're using a Garmin trainer get this and don't mess with the rest.

The 'squared-off' ends on this axle are shaped to fit the tacx trainer, so the bike is much more secure than it was with the quick release that was on my bike, which has more conical ends. That about sums it up. As others have said, the axle sticks out the end if you have an older cassette with <11 cogs. I sawed off the extra, but looking at the trainer later, it actually has a cutout to accommodate the extra axle, so that wasn't actually necessary.

Finally a rear skewer long enough for my 2020 Trek Rosco 7. So many skewers on amazon and so many that are measuring the skewers wrong. If you have a 27.5" Boost QR rear wheel this is the skewer to look at. After bending my stock rear skewer I couldn't find one even close to being long enough. This one is just long enough to work. It could stand a few mm more imho but it work and is able to clamp closed nicely. So many places are measuring the skewer wrong. They do it from full open handle to very end of the other side. The number people need to know is the inside to inside measurement.

The weather is getting cold and rainy in the Pacific Northwest. I swapped out the stock skewer on my Salsa Journeyman with this and it mounts perfectly in my trainer. Now I don't have any reason not to keep pedaling!

Got this for my Tacx Trainer. My original Smolik skewer looks and feels better, but I leave this tacx on, so that I can move my bike on the trainer the moment I get home. The tip of the bolt juts out at the end, but it still fits the trainer without any problem.

Delivery was a little slow due to the situation here but the Quick release is great

I do not know why others are complaining...it works perfectly.

Die Schnellspannachse war nicht dabei, also schnell beo Amazon geschaut, bestellt und einen Tag später in Rad und Rollentrainer eingebracht - jetzt läuft's! Verarbeitung ist sauber, passt problemlos im Rollentrainer (haben 2, Schatz hatte auch schon einen von Tacx, Achse ist bei beiden kompatibel), Preis ist klein - 5☆
