The media could not be loaded. I bought this to change oil from my MB W211 without crawling under the vehicle to get to the drip pan. It extracted the oil in my pan under 15 minutes. Just make sure to run the vehicle for a good 10-15 minutes so the oil won’t be too thick. And make sure to tighten the clamps for the input and output on the pump to avoid leakage. I did not connect it to a 12v battery with the alligator clips, but clipped them to a spare 12V 2 amp power adapter that I had laying around. My battery is located in the trunk. It works flawlessly. For this price value on a oil pump, it saved me time and additional labor. After I was done, I pumped a bucket of mixed dawn dish soap and water to clean the pump and line for storage. It should be good for the next oil change. I recommend this oil extraction product that I should of gotten years ago.

Made changing the oil on my 2014 VW Passat and 2018 VW Tiguan easy. No lifting the car and getting underneath it. If your car is designed to accommodate top side oil changes this is a good tool.When using watch the inlet and outlet tubes to ensure there are no kinks especially near the pump connections.

I started out to change Transmission fluid Sunday morning and the pump was dead. Right out of the box. The wire was hot to the touch. Since I needed to get the work done, I disassembled it. I found on of the wipers on the pump rotor installed incorrectly thereby jamming the pump not allowing it to turn. I reinserted the wiper correctly, reassembled the pump and it worked fine. Beware if this happens to you.

Have to measure how much you pull out. Dont leave any behind. Lasted for about 6 oil changes or 40 gallons of oil. Very convenient, bought another.

Worked great after I pre primed the pump with engine oil. It was very fast to suck out. the oil on my Toyota ridgeline. 2007.

I guess, I should have heeded the reviews... I got 16oz of water out of it and then the motor started smoking. It's a little loss for a trial. after taken it apart I notice the metal face plate was too tight. They should put a thicker O-ring in it. The way its not metal pressing against metal. Poor design... Oh, motor still works. However, I wouldn't trust it for too long cause it got hot. I would not buy this until they update the problem. Oh, yes please add heaver gauge wire.
