Even at $7.50 (Prime price when I purchased 7/2014), this item seems overpriced. I don't know if "Fun Express" is the actual maker of this stick horse, but mine has www.orientaltrading.com printed right at the base of the horse's head so I looked it up there and they offer it for $5.25. With that said, the look is pretty cute but the common complaint from other reviewers about air retention is absolutely true. For us, the head seems to hold air ok but I've never been able to get the ears to point in a decent direction (they fill with air too, which is nice). The "stick" portion, however, has no tears, holes or problems with the seams but begins to lose air within minutes of play. It seems most likely that the inflation nozzle is the culprit.While I don't think I would purchase one of these again for our kids (perhaps if it dropped below $5 - almost seems like a dollar store item even), I wouldn't go so far as to say no one else should. Especially considering that a "real" plush and wood stick horse costs considerably more. While it has some quality issues, I can't deny the fact that my 2 year old girl still makes do and has fun with it anyway.

I have seen some other reviews about these not remaining inflated for the entire day, but I didn't have any issues with the 2 that I received. I tried them out and they stayed inflated for a couple days before slowly losing air as most typical inflatable toys do. These will be perfect for a birthday party!

i bought this for a 2 year old who loves horses. She loves it! She plays with it a lot and has been quite rough with it but it's still working. I love that it's safe if she hits things with it. And it was a great price.I honestly was expecting it to have a hole or leak in it by now but it doesn't.

My girl loves her "sparky" horse and plays with it often. The only issue we've had, which is a small one, is that it doesn't hold air very well. I can blow it up pretty good and then within a few minutes it is looking droopy again. It doesn't seem to have a leak per se, just doesn't remain erect.

Nothing I thought would last forever but was hoping for more than one day. It was very cute it just wouldn’t hold any air.

bought these for a birthday party...they have played with them for a couple of weeks now without a problem.

Cute for the money. Used as a prop for night at the races party. Kids would probably break it in an hour.
