NYNE NB-250 Rubberized Water-Resistant Bluetooth Speaker (Black)

Well, I read all the reviews and my top 2 choices were this NYNE NB-250, and the UE Boom. Somehow I decided on the Boom. (I bought it elsewhere so no review here on Amazon.) The Boom came and it sounded really good, cool form factor, nice app for my Iphone. But the first time I used it around the house, the battery seemed to lose its charge quickly. I made sure to give it a full charge, and then timed it playing it at 75% volume, which is at least what I'll be playing it at the beach. Well, 30 minutes later it said I only had 80% battery life left. You can do the math, but if I'm correct, that means I'll only get 2-3 hours out of it at the beach before it dies. Totally unacceptable. Logitech admits that at high volume, you're battery life will be less.So, bought the NYNE NB-250. This thing was 80 dollars cheaper, and while I did not do a side by side comparison, the sound quality and volume output are almost identical. You will hear slight distortion starting at 100% volume, so don't turn it up that high. I got 8 hours plus out of the first charge at 75% volume, and still have battery left.If you've got an Iphone, download the DENON equalizer app that will allow you to customize the sound exactly the way you like it. Great little speaker!

Chose this speaker to replace my ecorox which was also good while it lasted. The problem with the ecorox was using mini usb to power it. The nyne uses a barrel connector which is easier on my aging eyes to orient properly.. detailed readings of the reviews for speakers with the mini usb is that it breaks off inside the unit, which is what happened with the ecorox. Both sounded great but the Nyne also has a usb A connector for charging phones and such, which is a nice addition.. Also the carrying case is handy for hanging on doorknobs and hooks.

Took this baby camping and used it with my Galaxy S3. Everybody loved it. Heavy duty. Protective cover.It isn't going to shake windows, but how could it, being so small? Could hear the music from one side of the campfire to the other. But don't buy it if you think you're going to pump base throughout the campground or rock the party.

Not only am I pleased with my purchase, but the company & it's employees are fantastic. I had a small problem & they responded promptly & were very professional. I look forward to getting more products from them. You can't go wrong when you buy a product from such a reputable company.

This little speaker has great sound for the size and money. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't want to spend hundreds of dollars but still wants quality.

Great speaker great convenience and great quality. The carry cover fits well and is easy to use. I'd give it a 10 but it's a NYNE...

Being a Mac girl I had to have the Jawbone. I returned it the next day for a Nyne.A friend of mine had a Nyne and after hearing the quality and crystal clear sound there was no doubt about it,I had to have the Nyne.I'm a pretty outdoorsy person. It had to be compact enough for me to take it to teach my yoga class on the beach and to go sailing. The carrying case is a must not only protecting it but to make it easier to be on the go.Another selling point it holds a charge forever;)I have never written a view before but being that the Nyne has come along on all of my adventuresI hope it does for yours as well.
