⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ / 🌶🌶🌶.5My first read of 2023 and I can say I’m beyond happy that this was the first book I’ve picked up this year.I loved everything about this, it was super quick but not too quick, actually made me chuckle out loud funny, smutty, fluffy (which I’m not usually a fan of fluff but I loved in this) and it had some storyline to it too. I loved the lake monster, Adrian he was so sweet and adorable at times. And I absolutely loved Amy, found myself nodding along and agreeing with her collections and her thinking at times haha.This was my first egg laying smut and if they’re all like this then I’m down for more. I can’t wait to read the rest of this authors work. Love me some monster love

The Monstrous Matches series is one of my favourites. Each new story is chock full of complex characters, a developing magical world, beautiful story lines, and awesome hotness!I really hope there is a story in the works about Seamus being helped by the match maker.

This was such a quick and fun read, I flew through it. Fast paced, steamy and I can't wait to see what else we get from this new series. Once again, Lillian has killed it!This was my first book with eggs so I didn't really know what to expect but I loved it. Everything about the lake monster fit perfectly and I loved the chemistry between the two of them.Found by the Lake Monster follows on from Lillian's 'Caught by the Werewolf' in the 'Into the Woods' Anthology but you do not need to read this beforehand. However, I would recommend reading that as it really sets the scene, especially if this is your first book by Lillian and you may not know much about the matchmaking agency.

I thought I wasn't going to like this at first, but when I got into it I found it quite funny, Amy seemed to be a bit eager considering she'dnevered met a lake monster before. But once I got over that I just enjoyed the story, and I was happy that there weregoing to be more eggs for Adrian.

This book was perfect to me, the right amount of fluff, smut and backstory! This is definitely a new comfort read for me, and I will be re-reading it again soon!I wasn't expecting to find it as hot as I did, but it was eye opening and I'm intrigued enough to read some more books with oviposition hehe.Other than the smut, the main characters were likeable, and it felt as realistic as possible, given the magic aspect to it. The lake monster was so adorable, fluffy and the whole cabin in the forest vibe was so cosy!

New author to me not a bad story

This was a perfect palette cleanser having just come out of a long series. Lillian Lark's books are always well written, enjoyable and a damn good romp. Full of romance, sex and cum, lots of cum

New author to me and I have to say that I am not disappointed. Adrian is an absolute sweetheart. I love how he is so worried about making a good impression for his date. He is so kind too. Especially when you find out that he has given up hope of ever having a family. I just wanted to hug him. I have to say that I loved Amy as well. She doesn't make excuses for who she is or what she likes. She accepts herself and more importantly she also accepts Adrian for who he is. They are the sweetest couple but will they last past the one encounter? You cannot help but hope that they do.This was a great read and I loved how the descriptions of everything were so clear that I felt I could see it all. Going to look for more by this author now!
