Seller is awesome but the comic was lousy...
Eh...Comic was not very good. It was silly quite frankly. Tries too hard to be edgy and sexual but it comes off in a very juvenile way. The seller however is awesome...fast shipping, reasonably priced product. Thank you to the seller.

Awesome
Awesome drawings with an interesting plot... Ariela Kristantina drawings are superb and sets the mood. With a slight roughness she can bring out the anger and tenderness mood in the drawings.

A promising start to a series that later falls flat
A lush and riveting story with an absolutely *searing* commentary in the subtext about gender roles in the Victorian age many of which are still applicable to this day. The artwork is rich and the writing very genuine. The concept itself is quite compelling and original. It's a story about inequity and prejudice on both sides of the gender line with men *and* women serving as both heroes/heroines and villains. It's a welcome bit of hope regarding the spirit of unity. As a fan of body horror concepts such as "The Thing" or "Hellraiser" I can recommend this. I cannot say enough good things about the exquisitely horrific visuals of the various creatures involved. It's a pity that Marguerite Bennett in her future endeavors (specifically issues 8-12 collected in Insexts: Volume 2) allows her original concept to degenerate into a trite cycle of mustache twirling (literally) two dimensional misogynists being massacred en masse as her assorted heroines caterwaul over the various injustices they have suffered due to their gender at the expense of the story. Subtext is replaced by text (pages and pages of text) and the promising story becomes extremely bogged down for it.Insexts Volume one shows us something refreshing and inspiring: men and women coming together to make war on a true example of sadistic villany.Insexts Volume two becomes a trite cycle of:Men torture and mutilate women.Women torture and mutilate men back, usually in a spectacular display of carnage.Wash.Rinse.Repeat.The 'Us vs. Them Marguerite Bennett has chosen to embrace in her later works is one more spiteful example of polarizing an already divisive issue. And *that* story is the opposite of original, inspiring or hopeful. It is simply a hatred we have all already seen before.

One of the Best Erotic Graphic Novels
Overall, a pretty great story, especially considering the adult content. Probably one of the best erotic graphic novels I've read. Not for people who hate bugs. Good mild horror story. Give it a shot!
