Minka-Aire F905L-DK Artemis XL5 62 Inch Ceiling Fan with LED Light and DC Motor in Distressed Koa Finish

BEAUTIFUL Fan. Its so nice I also switched out the fan in the living room. There were reviews that said this was hard to install and was not quiet - but my experience was the opposite. Electrician had no issue installing this (we are too old for tall ladders) and its very quiet. It moves a LOT of air with the pitch of the blades. Its ART hanging from my ceiling and I LOVE them. Everyone that comes in comments on the design.

VERY quiet, EXCEPTIONAL airflow. NO smart control, Yes there are options to add on as they suggest, but I will caution you it is a bad idea if you have more than one of these fans in the same room as the bond controller that can control multiple devices would not know if one is on and one if off. IE: Turn on the living room fans (two installed) from the off position no problem. However if one was already on by the switch asking for that command would then turn it off. They do have other models with built in smart controllers (That I have had to replace faulty circuit board) that do not have the same problem. Good looking, 3 years so far no discoloring. Expensive but worth it.

I originally went to lampsplus.com but reaped Amazon sold the same fan with faster deliver. This fan is EVERYTHING! Absolutely gorgeous. Pictures do it no justice. The fan is not only gorgeous but it gets up and moves! The airflow is great. I only have one complaint. The light is more of a soft dimmer light. I’m going to see if I can switch to an LED light for more brightness. If you like the soft light then no worries it’s good and you can still see everything around you it’s just more dim and soft. I do like the 6 speeds on the fan control and you can dim the light up and down with the fan control. The fan is also very very quiet when on at no matter what speed. It’s a pricey fan butttttt you get what you pay for so I’m happy!!!

Very high quality fan! The blades are not actual wood. I replaced the original tan colored opal glass with the white one which is part number GF803. Extremely quiet, the LED light is extremely bright and dimmable, the fan moves a lot of air!

Just had it installed and so far it is great. It is beautiful and the design is very unique. We had to have it installed because our ceilings are 18 feet tall so we also bought a 6foot extension which works nicely. We put it in level three and man it moves air. It is also very quiet. My only complaint is that the light is really really dim. I am wondering if we can buy a different bulb or something. If not for the light I would give it a five rating. Worth the money.

Better than I expected. The co-op wood is so so beautiful. The blades have a wave curve to them, so unusual so Hawaiian just what I was looking for but better.

Fantastic Fan. Beautiful to look at. Quiet. Installer put it together and it took about 45 minutes. It's sturdy, has wood fans and moves a lot of air. I got the one with the LED light - not sure why Amazon does not provide extended warranty on the fan with the Led light but does provide warranty on the fan with no LED light. In order to use the remote, you must buy the Minka Lavery Fan Control System Minka Aire WCS213, else you cannot operate the fan. Why they won't charge you more by adding this Fan control in is beyond me. So if you just order the fan without the Control System you will be looking at the fan, and not enjoying the breeze it puts out. I had to order this fan twice, as the first one had a faulty motor and it kept on making noise every time it completed a circle. The new one that we replaced is super quiet, so the first one was faulty.

I was extremely disappointed in the Minka Air Artemis. From the time the fan arrived until its returned it was one disaster after another. After paying to have the fan installed it did not work properly and the light did not work at all. I contacted Minka and they told me that the problem was in the light module or the receiving module. When the parts arrived, I had to pay to have them installed. After the new parts were installed the fan still did not work and the light also did not work. I had to pay to have the fan taken down so I could return it. I did not want to try another Minka because the installation prices were killing me. I do not know if my situation was an isolated case, but I am now leery of buying a Minka fan.
