Mug Heat Press Mini Cup Press Sublimation Machine for 11oz-15oz Coffee Mugs Small Tumbler Heat Press

I have a sublimation oven, but dislike using the shrink wrap for mugs. It seems to occasionally melt onto the mug and is difficult to remove. I saw this mini mug press and it was a reasonable price, so i decided to try it out. The press is small, but portable and easy to use. You have to preheat the unit with a blank mug before putting in your actual project. This only takes a few minutes. It is suggested that you put a strip of butcher paper between the heat mat area and your sublimation paper wrapped mug to prevent ink transfer to the mat. I used a silicone sheet that was made for this purpose to prevent scorched paper. When you are placing your mug inside of the unit, you have to tighten a pressure knob to bring the sides of the mat together towards the handle and close the latch in the middle. I set my mug to 200c and the timer for 200 seconds on a 12 oz mug. It came out perfectly! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to experiment with sublimation on mugs.

I was using a small convection oven with ok results, but this was a game changer. Fits 16oz and 12oz mugs. I have also done full wraps by moving the 20oz tumbler 4 times at a slightly lowered timing.
