Great quality, super comfortable!
I bought one of the cheap versions of these jackets, and found out that you get what you pay for. The other jacket had small rips, tears, and stuffing falling out within a couple of days of light usage. I returned it and bought this Eddie Bauer jacket and could not be happier. It’s lightweight, and can compress down to the size of a soda can for travel, but is warm enough to wear in colder weather down into near freezing temps to keep you warm. Has a hood for windy or rainy days. While it’s not completely waterproof, it does a nice job of keeping you dry in rain and the jacket itself dries quickly. Fits true to size, and is very stylish. If you’re considering saving a few bucks on a cheap brand, save yourself the hassle and buy the slightly more expensive quality brand. You’ll be happy with the value for money.

Great Value
Sharp looking jacket! Lightweight but warm! Easy to pack back up in small travel bag. Doesn't take up much room but provided the warmth I needed on a colder day. Quality construction, solid seams and good quality zipper. Washing well, needs a couple extra rounds in the dryer to fluff it back up. Great quality for the price! I know own three!

Super Lightweight Quality down jacket
Very lightweight, love this jacket ! Good for 50°+...maybe into the mid 40's if you were active while wearing it ? Great alternative to a hoodie.. I'm 6'2 & 210 lb got an extra large fits perfect. Very super comfortable, I like the fit a lot and quality is good. Definitely great packable, will take up virtually no room. I was on the fence for a while on this jacket after reading the reviews, I'm definitely glad I gave it a shot and got it, I would buy again. good replacement for hoodie, if you're looking for a down jacket to keep you warm in colder weather, I would skip it.

Very nice fit, look, and value
Got this jacket for my son for Christmas. He loves it. He says it keeps him warm, dry and he likes how light weight it is. I got it one on sale and would recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight jacket for camping, hiking, outdoor activities.

This is very thin a step down from the 850s
Really really light, I had several LL Bean 850s this is not as warm but very convenient and easy to use as an under jacket. This jacket fits absolutely perfect. I’m 5 08 170 ordered a Medium.Great for in out of the car but I wouldn’t be out in 30’ weather for more than 20 mins, great jacket very universal.

I love this jacket for any chilly weather
I now have three of these jackets, in different colors. Real goose down, harvested humanely. 650 fill power works well for me from 65 degrees down to around 40 degrees. When it gets colder, I slip an outer jacket over this as a base layer. The hood stays on well.Eddie Bauer means quality and I have no evidence to the contrary. It's a great value for a lightweight, but warm, down jacket.

Not much fill
Needed to replace a very worn out Eddie Bauer packable down jacket that had torn, for my husband. Unfortunately, we ended up returning it due to the lack of the down fill in it. Unlike the photo that shows it “puffy” each of the quilted chambers were flat . We tried reviving it in the dryer but it didn’t help. It’s a shame because it is a very nice jacket. It is made very well, generously sized and the material is soft.

Warmer than expected. Good fit
Love this coat. Crushes small, real down, not synthetic, with a light sweater I’m good to 30 degrees F. Love the hood. Haven’t noticed any significant feather loss which some other reviews noted. Definitely recommend it, esp if you’re a traveller because of its lightweight and packability.
