Everything you need is provided. I received more yarn then I needed. It was my first time, but this was very easy to do. Clear directions. 2 needles broke, but 4 are provided. Quick and easy project and nice quality. I recommend!

This was a good kit, had everything I needed as a beginner, and it was a good value. I had to take some creative liberty when I could no longer make out the lines, but I’m happy with the result.

I’ve done a few needle felting kits and I was pleasantly surprised at how soft this wool was! There was more than enough wool available to finish the project without running out too.I wish that the instructions were better. For example, the photo on the instructions appeared to use black wool but the only options in the kit were very dark green and very dark brown. Based on the photo I guessed it was supposed to be brown, and I was almost done with the section (and running really low on that color) before I realized I should have used the dark green. The text instructions are not very good, because they are clearly translated, but they could be more helpful if a color was written down, so it was clear which one to use. Fortunately, I have some other wool available that I can use to cover the section and make it look more green, and also replace the dark brown that was supposed to be put in another part of the piece.It would have also been nice if the kit came with a few more felting needles. It might just be me, but I find that they tend to break pretty easily. This is a pretty large project, and I ended up breaking all of my needles before I was finished again, I had some others sitting around from other projects that I was able to use, but if this was my first time, it would have been more of an issue.

I am 9 years old and I did this super cool needle felting kit all by myself! I loved it because I didn't poke my fingers as I have with other animal needle felting kits. My mom likes that the price is cheap and it kept me busy for 8 hours! The wool is great quality. The frame was easy to put on as well. Adults and crafty kids would love this beautiful kit. It would also make a great gift.

Very nice kit with everything you need to complete the project. I bought two so that I could share the experience with a friend. Great starter kit for someone who has never felted, or who is experienced. Very happy with it, especially for the price.

I am amazed at the quality of the final products shown here by beginners. This is most definitely not the kit I would have wanted to start my needle felting journey with. I honestly don't think the finished product as shown can be made without machine felting, but then I am a relative beginner myself. All components of this kit are cheap and less than ideal. The wool backing is very thick, making the felting take extra force. The wool is short stranded roving, clean, colorful, but batting would have been much easier to use. The amount of color mixing suggested is difficult to do by hand, the appropriate tools would help but I do not yet own these. (Supposedly a couple of carding combs, same as some types of pet hair removers.). The foam back for felting into is ridiculously small and cheap, get yourself at least an 8 inch square foam felting mat before you start. The needles do seem cheap, but only one bent for me. Felting needles are always very thin and sharp. You need to make sure you bring the needle in and out in the same direction or they will break, no matter what the quality. I highly recommend finger guards and a multi needle tool to make this project safer and faster. The hoop is plastic. Glueing the felt on the back to the hoop is usually the easiest finish, but with this thick felt, it was more difficult. Using the scanned link provided, I got right to the short video which gives some idea of the process. Very incomplete. There are also small pictorial instructions with the kit. I ended up making some thin felt sheets from the roving and cutting out the flower petals which are 3D, imperfect but I did not have the patience to individually felt each of those petals. I suggest looking at the painting with wool kits available on Etsy if you can afford to spend considerably more.
