I put my tablet as a size comparison. I cannot wait to deep dive this Bible by John MacArthur. I have read his books and finally decided to invest in a study Bible so thrilled that this was available. The font is in comfort print very easy to read even with the references (smaller size) and notations. It is a very decent size study Bible that I just want to take everywhere with me. The pages are exactly what you expect in a Bible. And I can't wait to see what else MacArthur has published that I can really get my hands on and read what he has written.

John MacArthur has been called the John Calvin of the modern era and I have long desired to get this Bible. It is packed with comments on the majority of the text and will help any Bible student or new reader to better understand and appreciate God's Word.Do beware that the commentary text is small and may be harder to read than the Scripture. I have had to let my eyes adjust to it and alternate nightly study with this and another study Bible.

I purchased this to help understand some of the passages that were a little harder to understand conceptually. This has been an amazing resource and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a good study companion. I purchased the New King James Version (NKJV).

This is my 2nd premium bible from Thomas Nelson. It's absolutely amazing. From cover to cover and everything else in between- is of the highest quality and workmanship. I bought this one since I felt semi (embarrassed / boujee) bringing my other to bible study... welp, this may also be the case with this one as well... this is a heirloom quality study bible, when you read this bible, you can tell it will hold up over the generations. I bought my other bible at full retail from a small local business, so getting this on sale here, is almost criminal. Treat your self, your grandkids and your grandkids -grandkids with the purchase of any T.N. premium bibles. The soft blue high lights are wonderful. Very detailed and informative. The pages feel like butter and smells amazing!

Nice attractive cover. Nice to have the finger tabs. Love the indebt explanations of the verses. I receive compliments on the beauty of it. I would recommend larger print if availability is there.

Great study Bible.

The media could not be loaded. I like the sturdy hard cover and also the Bible contains easy to read explanations at the bottom of each page. I’ve taken this Bible everywhere I go and its hard cover protects the pages.

Super KJV study bible!.Highly recommended.

This is the best English translation + comments/notes that cannot be underestimated. It is true that a better font could be chosen and perhaps published on thicker paper, but the overall assessment is that it is an invaluable tool that will allow you to enjoy the Bible.

I bought the NKJV MacArthur Study Bible 2nd edition, in brown leatherfeel, comfort sized text, and thumb index. It comes in a box, has two ribbons, and the pages have gold edging. It really is beautiful. The cover is soft and it feels great quality - it would make a wonderful gift! In terms of content, I've always struggled to read the Bible as I was born again 5 years ago, and so because I haven't grown up with Biblical language and concepts, I can't be sure I'm understanding what I'm reading. A Christian (and very well-read) friend recommended this study Bible and I'm glad about that! I've begun reading the first couple of chapters and already I'm delighted with the insights. There are no assumptions that you already know everything - such as the number of books in the Bible, and when and why they were written and by whom, etc. - which is ideal for relative newbies like me! Now I've read the first couple of parts explaining the things most people already somehow seem to know, I'm looking forward to getting into the real content. :) I'm very happy with this book.
