Good solid touring type bike. I found it easy to assemble as most of it is pre-assembled. My wife is very pleased with it and she rides every day. She has had it a week and has found no problems. She loves the very useful rear parcel rack.

So it's a refund, don't waste your time and money *********************************Jan 2024 updateWell the battery gave up after hardly any real use I've now been waiting we'll over a month for a replacement battery, they're still selling whole bikes here yet apparently they can't replace a battery. Shocking customer service.********************************************Well this bike is worth the £436 I paid for it, (save it as a favourite as the price fluctuates alot on Amazon.)It's quite study and looks good, reasonably comfortable for my short commute. The motor is quite good on slight hills but cuts out early on the flat and it's a heavy bike!I had to pay a cycle mechanic £43 to come and correct the brakes and gears as 'out of the box' they were quite a mess, breaks rubbing and gears jumping. Main problem was the chain repeatedly coming off, that continued till I removed a couple of links. Fingers still crossed.

A nice bike clear instructions to assemble

The bike arrived and I was quite happy and excited. Unfortunately, I had issues with the brakes being weak and also not being aligned well and the gears not shifting smoothly. I gave the brakes a little time as disc brakes take a while to get up to maximum potential, and they got slightly better but still took too long to stop me as they were weak. I took it to a bike shop to have brakes and gears fixed. The serviceman said that his conscience would not let him take my money for this, as it is a dangerously bad quality bike and whatever he did the brakes just would not be enough for the weight of the bike, and the cheap shifter and derailleur will never work well. He also said the components are likely to rust very quickly, and sure enough, some rust appeared after a few days around my disc brake rotor bolts! He also added that the pannier rack and its bolt are too weak to support the battery over time and as soon as I put a bag or something similar on it it will likely break and might ruin my rear wheel and derailleur.Basically, he called it a ‘bike shaped object’ and warned me against using it as it would likely cause injury and also deteriorate very quickly unless I only used it for a few miles of flat riding every now and then, which was not my plan as I live in a very hilly area.So yeah, I suggest staying away from this one, I have initiated a return on it and currently waiting for it to be picked up. Very disappointed and angry at amazon for having a bike sold directly by them be this cheap and dangerous quality.

I like classical looking bikes and this one looks great and rides well. Reasonably priced and well made.

Excellent value for money compared to other bikes of a similar build/ design.

The bike looks good. I was going to use the bike for commuting to work. I agree with the other reviews that the brakes are very weak. The assist felt good. The battery last about 10 miles and it died after 3 days of use. Bike returned. Kudos to Amazon as no hassles on return. Please believe in the reviews for this product.

Good finish, quality components, changed saddle for my own preference. Sails up hills, brakes needed bedding in for the first 50 miles. Great first E-Bike.
