Difficult to set up but not impossible with the help of other people who have been through the same issues. My first purchase had a faulty lance mechanism. My second machine worked better. However, all my readings were consistently in the high range (normal for me), and though correctly shown on the numbers screen, when shown on the plotted graph, they were plotted in the green (low) normal range instead of the higher range. I think the calibration of the actual data into graph form was not very good. This wasn't too much of a problem because I exported the data onto a spreadsheet on my computer and could graph it correctly.The other annoying feature was that it only stores data for 30 days, so you need to back everything up on your computer as the data is lost.I contacted Dario for help with these issues and didn't get a reply and eventually settled with all its idiosyncrasies because I liked the machine’s compactness. Whether becoming a Dario member would have helped, I don’t know because they charge for this service, and I felt the price should have been part of the package. I couldn't manage to get a Dario case for it here in Britain as they are currently unobtainable. Also, when it came to buying new test strips, they were extremely expensive – over £33 for 50 strips, and to be perfectly honest, that was the final straw for me, so I ditched the machine for the Nexus blue, which stores 1000 results and sends them straight to your iPhone even when it isn't turned on – a far superior device. So all-in-all, the Dario wasn’t for me

i have tried to contact them in every way as I cant clear off some readings. it doesn't happen as it says in the instructions like swipe and delete. i have phoned UK support 3 times and am still waiting for them to return to me. VERY disappointed have also emailed their customer service, Think twice about getting the app

Seamless integration with iPhone. Nice, compact easy to use. But cost of spare strips is far too high. Apart of that - highly recommended.

I am new to this business of stabbing myself. I have tried one other, more traditional, type of kit and couldn't get any readings at all. I'm managing with this one, though it took me an age to set it up because the instructions consist only of pictures which are difficult to decipher if you wear reading glasses.A big plus is that the device works with my Huawei phone even though this is not on the 'approved' list and you get a warning to this effect when you first try to connect.I can't judge the accuracy of the readings because I have no previous experience to refer to. However, the readings I've taken so far certainly reflect how I was feeling at the time they were taken.Being able to record and store readings on my phone using the app is extremely useful, and I can see that this a significant advance on the old style kit.This kit is compact and easy to carry.For these reasons, I am happy to recommend it.

Works perfectlyOnly issue is they don’t even display your data for 1 month to see they want you to get membership this is shameful honestly !!! That explain the 3 starts and not 5

Being a type 2 diabetic i found using this item teally help by logging results on the app that is packed with helpful advice and graphs that can show you your results together so you can plot its path. Must have the right phone though so be careful ordering but Im very pleased with mine!
