If you're the type of person to enjoy self-care rituals, to wind down from a long day or start a groggy morning off right, this is a great body wash! First I'll talk about the scent; it says Bergamot but it's actually quite a bit more complex than that, with woody notes and a warmth to it that makes it more of a grounded, understated scent. I generally don't enjoy heavy fragrance, and this is just the right amount to induce a meditative state. The wash is also very nourishing and hydrating to the skin. I never experienced any irritation, but it always left me feeling very clean. I'm not so convinced that a wash off product can do that much for long term skin health, but it's nice to know that this company uses skincare ingredients like niacinamide or hyaluronic acid in all their products. It's very expensive for a body wash, but I find a little goes a long way and it lathers up nicely. I love the attention to detail with the twist top, but I also think this is primarily a luxury item. This isn't designed to treat or address any skin concerns, and is mostly just an experiential item. If you like that sort of thing, I highly recommend this! Their other body care items are also excellent if you're looking to address things like aging, wrinkles, etc.

I ordered Nécessaire The Body Wash – Eucalyptus as a little luxury item for my daughter, who is currently pregnant. I had seen it highly recommended and thought it would be a nice, gentle self-care product for her. The bottle has a very clean, simple design and feels like a higher-end product. I also like that it’s hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, and formulated for sensitive skin, which made me feel more comfortable choosing it for her during pregnancy. The eucalyptus scent sounds refreshing and spa-like, and the ingredient list (including niacinamide and nourishing oils) makes it seem like a thoughtful formula focused on skin care rather than just basic cleansing. Overall, I purchased this as a special treat and self-care product, and I’m really hoping she enjoys it. It certainly seems like a quality body wash designed with gentle ingredients and a more elevated feel than a typical drugstore option.

This body wash is worth every dime! Its smells amazing and the scent lingers which is amazing. It lathers relay great and it leaves the skin nice and soft. I'm a huge fan now and will be restocking on it soon! =)

I was hoping for a strong bergamot scent, but for me there are too many other scent components that compete with it.

Was hesitant to try this without smelling it first but the reviews kept saying to try it. I concur! LOVE the smell, great for men and women. Pricey but worth it!
